I bought a pair of these. They looked impressive, felt good and after filling for the first time both worked well. The pepper mill went empty so I refilled it and thereafter the mill ceased working. I sought advice from Amazon because it was past the return date and was directed to the original seller. I called the seller who advised that resolution of my problem lay with Amazon because they were the ones who sold it to me. I then rang Amazon CS and even though the return date had expired they agreed that I could return both grinders for a full refund because they were clearly defective and not fit for purpose. I have since bought a stellar set of grinders which are absolutely premium quality. The new ones are only 20/22 cm tall as opposed to these ones at a lofty 30cm, but unbelievably they actually hold twice the capacity of these dead donkeys. Save your money. Quality every time and proof that you get what you pay for….

This was in the bin within two weeks of buying it. It didn't grind anything. Yes, I could have returned it but to be honest, I couldn't be bothered! Agreed that you get what you pay for,but this didn't do anything apart from make a horrendous squeaking noise. Awful.

Very well built. Nice quality product for the price. Does the job very well.

Sturdy on the outside and works great so far. I do expect it not to last very long, though, because the grinding mechanism is made out of plastic. Certainly, better materials could have been used for something like this.
