Fabulous unit - great for mixing podcasts.
My dad does a podcast and I was needing to upgrade the equipment we use to record it. This unit works great! Everything works smoothly and accurately. I can roll the prerecorded intro and then seamlessly fade into the program itself and then add background music where needed., We were using an ancient Realistic 4 channel mixer which limited the production values and was getting buggy on some of the pots. This is a great units and adds so much more flexibility and options. Nice!

Works
Works but a little Tinney on construction. Knobs are very plastic sliders are not tight or smooth. Sound is ok. Effects are very rudimentary in terms of digital effects.

DO NOT BUY THIS
I'm a sound engineer of 36 years. I knew better but I bought it anyway for very small jobs backyard stuff tiny venues ect. XLR output noise, Channel noise, Humming. It sounds like it's over compress and heavy echo noise. I waited to late to return it so I got stuck with it. Because I didn't open and test it right away after I received it. Basically it sat in the box until i needed it Bad mistake.

Seems fine
Seems mostly fine for the price. The fader switches don't seem to do anything though but that could just be me being dumb (I don't think so though). Took some fiddling to get the mic input to work but something I did got it working, I don't know what.Construction feels sturdy. Has a clean design. Just wish I knew why the faders weren't working.

Really excited about this mixer
Mixers are important to me. I like being able to be portable as well if I go sing somewhere or help with a band. Now I've got a very solid in quality mixing board here with great features like Bluetooth and effects for your voice and instruments. I've got a small set of speakers that go seamlessly with it as well and this mixer is as good as it gets. Has all the features of the competitive brands at a much reduced cost. Easy enough even I can use it effortlessly right out of the box.

Solid mixer for this price range
Not too long ago, the idea of getting an 8-channel mixer at this price would have been unheard of. Then, when budget mixers started hitting the market, they were awful. We've finally reached a point where they can be pretty decent. Can this compete with the good, known name brands, such as TASCAM? Absolutely not.But if you're on a budget or are a hobbyist like me, it's hard to beat something that does the job in this price range. It's got most of the features you expect these days. Supports phantom power / 48v for mics. USB support for connecting devices, as well as BlueTooth, making it useful for jamming with existing tracks, podcasting, etc. Decent EQ features, along with a separate FX channel so you can adjust on the fly.In fact, most of the layout and features closely mirrors the TASCAM Model 12, but without the recording capability and with less channels.Of course, it's not as well built. The knobs are cheaper, the body is not as high quality material, and over time it wouldn't surprise me if the internal components are also revealed to be a step down. How long it will last, only time will tell.Still, for the price, it gets the job done. Sound quality is good, with no noticeable buzz or hum or background noise. Ergonomics are good, controls are self-explanatory, the features are pretty robust. The manual is pretty bad, but this unit so closely mirrors others of its type, it's easy to Google the answer to any questions you have.8 channels of mixer power for a hundred clams? That's a thumbs up from me.

NO Reverb
You can kind of simulate Reverb with the Effects settings, But this board (SENWOSI MT-8 8-Channel Sound Board Mixer Amplifier Mixing Console) does Not have Reverb. And PS it is not Powered (no amplifier)

Dissatisfied
They squeaked the whole time and the batteries will not stay charged. They also gave me four nice blue mic covers and two very cheap and horrible mic covers. If anybody knows how to stop them from squeaking please let me know
