The media could not be loaded. My order delivered on time and the packaging was good, the product was intact. I followed the instructions manual that came with the product about cleaning and care. I cleaned the product as mentioned in the manual using vinegar and water mixture and rinse several times post that. I used this for almost 2 weeks and post that I am writing this review. The product is worth every dollar I spend on this. It quickly heats up water and makes my life easier. The capacity of the kettle is good. It has an auto shut off function as well which is a must required for these kind of products. The product comes with one year warranty, which is great. The inside of the kettle is stainless steel which ensure no plastic contact with water and easy to clean as well. The kettle is very easy to use and handle. Even after max temperature reach the kettle still feels normal (room temperature / cool) and easy to pour also. Great addition to anyone's coffee bar. Best addition to my kitchen counter. Overall the quality of the product is very good and durable. Also it's way cheaper than other name brands. I highly recommend this Mecity Electric kettle.

Love! Love! Love this kettle! It has the features I wanted without a high sticker price.This is really so much faster than using a kettle on the stove.I was looking for one that would avoid plastic contact with the water & this is definitely a great option. There are NO areas that come in direct contact with your water that are plastic that I can see. There is a potential small area at the very top that may with the steam/ condensation of the heated water. (It a small hole that looks like it may be d/t the construction of how the handle connects). A very MINISCULE piece of plastic if it does. EVERYTHING ELSE on the inside is metal.The outside is a plastic, which I was concerned would be very cheap quality, however it actually is very nice.The BEST part is that it doesn't get scalding HOT like the glass kettles do- it gets warm, but not 2nd & 3rd degree burn warm! And... You never have to work about glass breaking.Definitely would recommend this one!

This kettle looks nice and does the job. It boils water, no different temp settings. There's no plastic in contact with the hot water, but the plastic shell outside makes it easy to handle for my kids. It is not very quiet. It puts out a lot of steam when it heats. We had to move it to a different counter so repeated steam exposure doesn't damage our new cupboards. The volume lines are inside and can only be seen by opening the kettle. They are Min 0.5L, 1.0L, and Max 1.7L.

Pros: I love the capcity. I fill it with de-chlorinated water to the max line. I plug it in to a smart plug so I can turn it on from my bed when I wake up so the water is hot & ready to make my pour-over coffee when I get to the kitchen. It turns itself off when boiling and keeps the water hot.Cons: A few days after I started using it, I noticed a ~2.5mm chink in the inside veneer. It doesn't taste funny nor has it grown but disappointing anyway. Also, I noticed that it puts out a bit more steam than I like so I cannot keep it under my cabinets. My kitchen doesn't lend itself to many choices. I'm still thinking on it.

My previous electric kettles had temperature control and outside water gauges that I thought were important, however after using this kettle I realized that the temperature gauge was never really used as I always set it at boiling which is where this kettle reaches and the turns off. (The simple push button on lever lights up while heating and turns off once boiling water. This kettle has makings on the inside to indicate water level which is actually better than the ones with the outside gauges since the one I had started leaking when the plastic gauge material disintegrated from use. Adding the advantages of the easily cleaned inside and cool outside were things I had not valued, but seeing the instructions on the outside describing how to clean for mineral deposits reminded me that other kettles had limited openings and would not be easy to clean. Being on well water means that is an issue worth addressing. Overall surprisingly good simple features make this a wise purchase.

We were looking to replace our old Kettle that wore out after 3ish years of daily use. It is really difficult to find an electric kettle without a see through plastic window or a plastic pour spout or some other unknown plastic dipping into the hot water, so we were excited to try this one. It heats quick and is large enough to boil a decent amount of water for reducing the time required to boil a main pot on the stove (try it, it takes a lot less the time even on large burners). The auto off, bright blue switch, and audible click are great features to let you know when the water is ready. I would buy again or recommend to a friend without hesitation.
