The Ultimate Book of Airplanes and Airports

This is my 2 year old’s favorite book. He has much of it memorized. I appreciate the variety in the pages as compared to other airplane books. We especially like the airplanes taking off and landing. We have two other Ultimate Book Ofs that are equally great.

Excellent book for kids and adults. Shared it with my 3 y.o. granddaughter and she loved it. Full of useful facts and insights and lots of flaps, pulls and spinners to explore. Highly recommended.

I have to update my review. This book should have come with a warning: may result in early morning requests for more books. That’s right - at five am my seven year old woke me up to see if we could go to the library to check if they have the other “ultimate books”. Do not buy this book if you prefer your kids to be uneducated. You will not get a quiet iPad and chill moment after this book. No no. You, my friend, will have to listen to squeals of joy as new pull tabs are found and facts are loudly recited. My seven year old is obsessed with this book. He loves the interactive nature of the book. I love that he is happy to “read”. The book is a challenging read - even my 12 year old was caught reading the facts.

Great interactive book with slide out and pop up pages that show you how airplanes and the airport operate .. great for early learners and some cool information for the Mom's and Dad's as well.

Very cool. This whole series of books is great for any toddler. My son Loves the flip books and truly was obsessed with them for the first few weeks. The only books he wanted to read…even though there aren’t many words. Detailed and fun.

If your son or daughter is a fan of planes, this book is for you. Great resource for reading and new vocabulary acquisition. I bought another one for my nephew.

These books are worth every penny. We have the airplane, vehicles, construction, and horses version. Every kid in our house (from ages 10-2) enjoyed these books and returns to them again and again. The moving parts are about as durable as you can get for this kind of book. We’ve wrecked and rebought multiple versions of these.

My granddaughter loves this, BUT, it really is made more for the kindergarten, primary school aged children, not for littles. Even so, she loves to sit down and move the parts that move. Also near the back page is an airplane that is loopty-looping and so there is a coil that goes from one page to the other. This tears right away. I'm not sure how it could be done to avoid that. That is disappointing, but overall the book is great fun.

So many moving parts - every page exciting and revealing of the inner workings of the made world around us. Highly recommend

As a pilot, I bought this book for my 3-year-old son, and we both absolutely love it! The book is incredibly accurate (except for the tarmac part), informative, and engaging, making it a fun way to introduce young children to airplanes and airports. Its large size is another great feature, as it allows for more detailed illustrations and interactive elements. My son adores it and often asks to read it together. The only downside is that the movable parts are somewhat fragile and can get damaged with use. However, this is to be expected with any book that gets as much attention as this one. It doesn’t take away from the overall experience, and I’m not complaining. Overall, I think it’s an excellent book, and I would definitely buy it again. Highly recommended!
