This tastes almost fennel, gentle mint. It cleans surface very well. I switched from commercial brand, and have been using for 2 months. I continue to have sensitivity relief! While it does not foam, my gums feel nourished after using this. I noticed a significant reduction in discomfort and odor around my crown. I have already bought a second tube. I cannot comment on whitening, my teeth are already pretty white. But, I can highly recommend this easy flip cap toothpaste.

Ok. So, I have used this toothpaste for so long. My mom had always bought it, multiple tubes at once so I always had at a few two packs in the cabinet at once. Now that I am buying them myself a significant amount of time has passed…we’re talking one person using 6 tubes of toothpaste amount of tubes plus part of my last tube from this brand that was a different version that I really did not like the taste of. Since that one tasted bad to me I ordered this one because it is the link my mom sent me from what she has always ordered. They had to have changed their formula because this does not taste like it used to. It taste like the other version they sell that I tried (I think it was total care- not positive) regardless this taste like the yellow stuff that I’m not allowed to name in my review but IYKYK. It’s bad. Please bring back the old version of this toothpaste, whatever was done to this one not only made it taste nasty, but also my teeth don’t feel as clean as they used to.

This toothpaste was recommended for people on Keto eating programs like myself who aren't always sure if my breath is as fresh as I would like it to be. This toothpaste is actually very good because it doesn't have a lot of additives and really makes my teeth feel "squeaky clean" after I brush my teeth. I'm not strictly "keto compliant" with all my meals, but reducing carbs and concentrating on certain vegetables and fruits has made a difference in my overall feeling of good health, and using good quality oral hygiene products is part of a healthy life style. I think the toothpaste is expensive, but then my good health is important and I can afford an expensive product to maintain that good health. I have no idea of the "whitening capabilities", I just know my teeth feel and look clean after use.
