Would they work for 2nd grade

These would be a perfect size for 2nd grade; I teach a 4th and 5th split and needed a few smaller ones. They say they are 14 inches. However, they are shorter than my other 14" stools. I think they are closer to 12". My students still use them at their desks and do not complain that the stools are too short.

is there an adult version of this wiggle chair?

Yes, The Simplay3 Rock and Reach Garden Comfort Seat is an adult version of the Simplay3 Play Around Wiggle Chair found here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09WG4CXGS?ref=myi_title_dp Please also see our product video here: https://youtu.be/vNM7QxlY87w

What are these made out of, can they be used in a swimming pool?

Simplay3 Play Around Wiggle Chairs are Made in the USA with linear low density polyethylene. The children's chair is hollow and will likely fill with water if submerged over long periods of time.

Confused. red says 12", blue says 14", but blue dimensions say 29x18x19" - what are real dimensions? need for 5 year old twins.

I would go with the blue. I teach kindergarten and I have the blue.
