Bored with lentil veg . At home due sick no fresh protein shopping , this sounded just fishy enough and well cooked down with alcohol . It was quite good , not too tomato ( as All tins are saturated or curry. I hate both those flavours . I added with microwave rice chicken veg flavour . It was good digested well , very smooth . My only meal and very satisfying . Probably would buy again . If one tinned cupboard protein might as well be a rich lobster bisque ? Value , rich , flavoursome . Fast delivery

Baxter have always provided soup the way it should be and not what people expect to see in a can. This lobster bisque is no exception, it is creamy but not too much and if you are not a fan of fishy smells and tastes then this will not be for you as it has a flavour explosion that works well with sourdough or rye bread for a meal all by itself. Baxters were always a little more expensive than other popular brands but not so much any more and you do get the quality you pay for in this case.

This is a very good base for home made Bouillabaisse , or fish stew, which is what I use it for. Add unsmoked white fish such as Pollack or whatever you've got, any extras such as prawns if you've got them, also add cooked sliced leeks and cooked potato chunks. I also like to add ground fennel seeds. Simmer until the fish is cooked through. Serve with crusty bread and you have a substantial and delicious meal.

Love lobster, love seafood, love fish. This stuff though.... YUK! Considering the ridiculously high price your not getting a quality product, let alone edible. The smell isn't nice and the taste is foul! Actually made my stomach turn for hours. I gave it to the local food bank, they didn't want it either! Ended up going in the bin.

Not as tasty as it used to be as it obviously now as reduced salt and you don't get the small pieces of fish/lobster like you used to. It is also more creamy and less fishy with more pepper, but it is the same as with every thing these days to reduce costs. I'd much prefer to pay abit more for a good quality soup than taste the watered down version of something that was pretty dam good back in the day.

Love bisque and this hits the spot and £1 cheaper a tin than supermarket. Yes some of the tins were dented but I don't eat the tin anyway!

I love this soup and being able to buy it in a pack of 6 is brilliant.
