Slow Feeder,Cat Help Slow Down Eating Speed Cut Flower Silicone Rubber Cute Slow Feeder for Puppy/Cat/Dog

Not from personal experience, but I read some of the reviews after buying it that some cats will tear off and eat the flower petals and can end up causing an emergency vet visit. If you think your cat is that much of a hethan when eating, DO NOT BUY THIS. I personally recommend the hard plastic ones made by Cilkus. I had those for my first 2 cats, and they were amazing for the price.HOWEVER. My cat isn't that much of a fat***. Maybe my late cat would've done it, but not this sweet pea lol. So I do love this slow feeder bowl so far. I didn't apparently look through all the photos, so the stickies on the bottom were a nice surprise cause now I can put it on top where it won't fall and the dog won't reach. Obviously you can use it as a lick mat for your dog as well. This thing is too great for function, and too cute for asthetic. 10/10 recommend if your cat isn't 100% a Tarrare.

This is a great slow feeder. My little dog inhales her food and ends up with tummy issues. This forces her to slow down as she has to maneuver to get her food out from under the peddles.

The media could not be loaded.  UPDATE 7/28/23:Last night Niffler started throwing up around 2 am and couldn’t stop. I ended up taking him to the vet where they did an X-ray. It showed he had an obstruction in his intestine. They rushed him to emergency surgery and what they found the 2 petals he ate weeks ago! Please beware where buying this product… Not only did it almost kill my cat the vet bill is going to be over 3k. What started out as a funny “I can’t believe my cat did this” thing, has turned in to a living nightmare I can’t seem to wake up from.Original Review:So like a good cat mom I noticed Niffler (my cat) inhaling his food and then puking from taking such huge bites. (He wasn’t even chewing the food!) I decided to buy him a slow feeder, I loved how cute this one was with the adorable flowers and thought it could also be used for enrichment since he would have to move the petals to get to the food. I gave it to him yesterday and he was NOT happy. He tried to rip it off the counter out of frustration that he could no longer drink his cat food. Thank god for the little suction cups on the bottom he was unsuccessful at getting it off of the counter. I figured in a few days he’d get the hang of it and all would be fine. I was wrong. He ate the puzzle feeder.

My dog loves to eat fast and then throws up, this made her take her time, and it has a pretty design, sturdy and durable, just throw it in the dishwasher

My 12 week old pitsky puppy chewed off one of the flower petals. I had to watch her the entire time as this was one of my worries. I may try again with a silicone feeder once she's a bit older.

The slow feeder was a little bit on the big side to me. I was expecting them to be smaller. They were easy to set up for feeding. The patterns were cute too. But here comes the cons to this review. I have two cats and at first they seemed a little scared of the slow feeder bowls. They were curious and finally realized there was food in them so they tried to eat from it. They just did not take to it. I can see how well it could work, I like the idea but my cats ended up avoiding to eat from the slow feeders and I had to bring back their original bowls. It might work for some cats but not mine.

My kitty came from a foster home where he had food insecurities so he really gobbles everything up. This dish is adorable, sturdy and slows him down quite a bit. I really like the suction cups on the back that keep him from just flipping it over.
