I really liked this azelaic acid serum and will likely repurchase. I found it to really help refine my skin and help prevent it becoming so congested. I have a tendency to get blocked pores and sebum plugs, and this seemed to really help make my skin overall smoother and brighter. I feel it helps if your skin tends toward keratin buildup and overall congestion. I found this really hydrating and not at all sticky, but I live in a really dry climate and few things remain sticky throughout the day. It absorbs quickly into the skin and I had no issues with pilling or how it sat under makeup or other skin care items. I like that it's unscented, as that is my preference for skin care. I didn't detect any smell at all from it. I think this one is great value for money and it lasted me several months when I used it most days (either morning or evening, depending on what else was in my routine)

I’ve been using this serum for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed. The 15% azelaic acid feels strong enough to make a difference but still gentle on my sensitive skin — no stinging or irritation. The combination with niacinamide and vitamin C makes this a powerhouse for dullness and uneven texture. I’ve noticed less redness around my nose and chin, and my skin looks a bit more even and calm overall. The texture of the serum is lightweight, absorbs quickly, and layers nicely with my moisturizer and sunscreen. A little goes a long way, and the fact that it’s made in Japan and fragrance-free makes me feel even better about the quality. If you’re looking for something to help with tone, brightness, and balancing oil without being too harsh, this is a great option.

I was unsure how it would work but it’s surprisingly helped my skin and improve my texture although I do use red light therapy this also makes a difference and it’s a nice consistency

After reading a lot of reviews I was not sure about this product but I have decided to give it a try and I love. My skin is definitely brighter and my dark spots are less noticeable. I also use it on my hands and it visibly lightens the spots. I have zero skin irritation with this serum which is a big plus. This is my second time purchasing this serum.

The KisoCare Azelaic Acid 15 Percent Serum has a lot going for it, but my experience ended up being pretty mixed. I was excited to try it because azelaic acid usually works well for me, and the combination with niacinamide and vitamin C sounded promising. The first night I used it, my skin actually looked smoother the next morning, almost like it had a gentle blurring effect. I remember thinking, “Okay, this might be a new favorite.” But things didn’t stay that predictable. On some days, it helped calm redness and made my skin tone look more even. On other days, it left my face feeling a little dry and tight, even with moisturizer. One time I applied it after a long day in the sun, and my skin got slightly irritated which surprised me because azelaic acid is usually pretty forgiving. The texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly. It layers well with other products, and I appreciate that it’s made in Japan since the quality control tends to be excellent. It has a clean feel and no overpowering scent which is a plus. The main issue is consistency. Some weeks it felt like it was helping with bumps and dullness, and other weeks it barely seemed to do anything. Not bad, just not amazing. If you have sensitive skin, you might need to introduce it slowly because the 15 percent strength can feel strong on certain days. Overall, it’s an okay serum that delivers moderate results, but it didn’t become a must have in my routine. It works, but only on its own schedule.
