It is so nice and gentle on hair , just strong smell but it is similar to other products (chemicals). But totally i got the result I wanted.quantity is perfect can be used for several times.

UPDATE: 12/18/2024 I'm still relaxing my hair with this product and still no burns. I do have some breakage at the top of my hair because I forgot how much more gentle I'm supposed to be with my hair when it's relaxed because chemically processing your hair changes the integrity of the hair. Other than that everything is going well and I plan on using this for the rest of my life lol Also, for bi-weekly maintenance I use Cecred hair products. ABOUT MY HAIR BEFORE THE TREATMENT: - Was relaxed from childhood until 11th grade. Was natural for 5 years before this treatment and 5 years before that. - Scalp had dandruff with regular relaxers. No dandruff when natural. - Armpit length - Course, VERY thick, 4B-ish - healthy - I live in hot & humid climate RESULTS: It's only the first day and I LOVE it. When I was relaxed (Motions), I'd go to a professional and my hair NEVER came out this soft! I didn't get it bone straight so it has some texture when wet but I'm okay with that because I like some texture so it can blend with my kinky straight extensions/clip ins without a problem. I was hesitant to use this product because I used to get terrible burns the size of my hand on my scalp when I went to professionals and my scalp would be sore and I had BAD dandruff. I thought that it was just that I had a sensitive scalp. When using this product on my own without help, I didn't have ANY burns or scalp sensitivity (SO FAR). I'll make sure to update! The product comes with its own instructions, but here's the instructions that I USED after watching YT videos: *Do a patch test before starting* 1. Shampoo squeaky clean & detangle ALL hair in 4 sections. 2. Put hair in 2 sections (top & bottom) 3. Put on gloves SOLUTION 1: 4. Keep hair wet & apply Solution 1 to thickest/healthiest/most resistant parts of bottom first (inch below scalp) 5. Work solution through hair & leave on bottom for ~16 minutes or until hair is straight 6. Put solution on roots the last 3 minutes or until it tingles 7. Rinse bottom section thoroughly for 5 minutes then check if hair is clear by doing hair bath. Keep rinsing until no bubbles left. 8. Turn on titanium flat irons to 350 9. Repeat steps 4-8 on top section. 10. Put all hair in 4 sections. 11. Dry hair then blow dry until straight as possible (use bristle brush if you can) 12. Straighten all hair in small sections with titanium flat iron 13. Put hair back in 2 sections (top and bottom) SOLUTION 2: 14. [15 minutes total] Apply neutralizer and make sure hair stays straight SATURATE & turn on ceramic flat iron to 350 15. Rinse thoroughly 16. Use light heat protectant 17. Blow dry & press with ceramic flat iron 18. Make sure to not bend hair for 36 hours or it will stay with that bend. If you see any bends that you don't want in your hair within those 36 hours, make sure to straighten it lightly.

I’m aware the packaging changed but I wonder if the formula did too? The straightening quality is lacking compared to the time I used it with the previous model. The frizziness is also more difficult to manage despite spending all that time completing the process. I don’t have overly curly hair but it is coarse and thick, so the performance of the product disappointed me. I’ll be looking for alternatives for next time.

very nice product does the job perfectly
