The cover is actually made up of two separate pieces, but don't worry, they click on easily and feel quite sturdy.The bottom cover also has these handy little feet that allow you to raise your laptop and type at a more comfortable angle. It's definitely a relief for anyone worried about developing RSI from extended laptop use. Plus, it's so lightweight and portable that you don’t even notice it's there!The cover also comes with a super convenient padded mouse pocket that can be unzipped and used as a mouse pad.I don’t know how long the case will hold up, but I'm really hopeful that it lasts a good long while. Regardless, I'm just thrilled with how quickly it was delivered, and most importantly, my laptop is now nice and safe.

Great product

A nice item and I think worth the extra money. I’m using it with my Midnight coloured MacBook Air and it fits really well. The only very minor issue - and it’s my fault as I didn’t think it through - is I’ve needed to get a couple of short Thunderbolt extension connectors to allow the docking port to connect as the case interferes with anything that needs to connect tightly to these ports. Colour is good and it’s very robust.

I've edited this review. The first case I bought didn't come close to fitting and I returned it for a refund, but because the sellers contacted me to apologise and sent me a second case at no cost to myself, I tried again. The second case does, with some effort, fit - and I'm genuinely impressed the sellers went to the effort to contact me to sort the problem out. Hence, 4 stars - because they're a decent bunch. Onto the case itself - it really is a nice case - very robust (if that's what you're looking for, as I am - I use my laptop in nightclubs). It's still a bit of a beast to fit - here's my advice - START AT THE BACK. Especially for the bottom shell - hook that on at the back of your laptop first (the clips show in one photo) as it's easier to engage the front and side clips last, than the rear clips last. It looks cute, and the little feet on the bottom that let you stand it up are an excellent addition.
