This mouse works very well. It’s very easy to use. Just plug into usb port and you’re good to go. It is silent as advertised. It seems well made. I’m pleased with this purchase. I believe it’s good quality for the price. I suppose time will tell as far as its longevity.

I’ve used a different mouse before that was slightly quieter, but this is still much quieter than a standard cheap mouse and it feels much nicer to click/scroll. Compared to the super common logitech b100 (which is only a few dollars cheaper) the Verbatim mouse is about the same size, the plastic feels marginally higher quality, and the buttons and scroll wheel feel less hollow and more satisfying to use. It’s just a wired mouse so it’s easy to use (just plug and play). Overall it’s a good design for a cheap mouse and I am very happy. It’s perfect to leave at the office for work.

I came across a cheaper brand of a "silent" mouse from Yumqua. At first I thought this was the greatest invention after years of becoming irritated or woken up from sleep by the sound of typing. However like the saying goes cheaper is not better. After a few months, each mouse from the "value buy" started to malfunction in some way. I had seem this mouse from Verbatim for years but I thought how could I spend this much on just a mouse when there are cheaper options out there. But its been months and there has been no sign of the mouse weakening. Yes it is silent if that its no going to disturb anyone at the library. But if someone is sleeping right next to you, they could hear a weak, soft clicking sound from your mouse. Pro tip is make sure you don't unwind the mouse cord all the way so that it does accidentally hit the floor ever and give your mouse the best possibility of a longer life.

The media could not be loaded. I do audios, videos for students. When publishing they are rejected due to sound of the mouse clicks and wheel. So I bought this silent mouse.Tested it with this microphone in built in camera for this review video. I do not hear the clicks! Possibly a very light sound one time but definitely the audios will pass inspection.Recommend for Audio, Video.4 stars because the front of the mouse it too thin, it slips out of my hand, won't drag well and I accidently lose a click, drag or click something I do not want to click.Update; Been spontaneously using the mouse for other things (I forget to switch when I stop doing a audio) and my hand, fingers are adjusting to it. Not perfect, but its ok. It IS perfect for the audio; my audio book chapter passed! I was looking for a corded/wired that was also quiet. This a basic mouse that has very silent buttons, which is great. However, I found that the buttons are very hard to press. I felt like I needed to push the left button really hard in order for it to work. Otherwise I have no other issue. The packaging of this mouse was a bit on a frustrating side. Overall I can't quite recommend this mouse, unless my copy was defective - stiff button press.

I finally decided to ditch wireless mice after a couple fails. They didn't stay connected, the lag time was annoying and batteries aren't cheap. I really like this simple Verbatim mouse. It works seamlessly with my iMac. It's comfortable and the scroll wheel is just the right about of tacky and no sharp edges. The cord is plenty long. No lag, no disconnects, no batteries. it's not fancy, but I don't need fancy.It is NOT truly silent as advertised. The scroll wheel has a slight click and you can feel the notches as it scrolls. The buttons have a dull clunk sound. It's probably as close to silent as you can get for the price. It's not annoying any more than my Apple keyboard so I'm happy with it.

It’s silent! No clicking sounds. Exactly what I was looking for.
