This step stool is very sturdy and stable with rubber pads on the bottom to protect the floor. It also includes anti-slip rubber strips to stick on to prevent slipping if the surface gets wet. Overall, I love the look and feel of this product.But best of all is the assembly. This has the best assembly instructions I've ever seen hands down. Every part had a small sticker (easily removed) labeling it. The screws were in separate labeled plastic zip bags. And the instructions were a slick heavy paper color printout that clearly showed a visual parts list and then easy to follow diagrams of where each labeled part went. There was a bag of spare parts that I didn't need, plus it had both the Allen wrench and an electric screwdriver tip included! Who does that?I also bought this company's double step stool for the kitchen and it's the same way - everything nicely labeled with easy to follow instructions. I'm still amazed at how well this company does with DIY assembly instructions vs anyone else I've ever tried.If you are looking for a solid step stool with amazingly easy assembly instructions with tools provided then you should definitely consider this product.

I bought this for my mom since I have to drive her around and she has a hard time getting in and out of vehicles.It was a snap to assemble, taking no more than maybe 10 minutes to complete. I wasn't a fan of the included "anti-slip strips", though, so I bought my own and applied them instead. You WILL need something for the less "sure-footed" users as the top is smooth and can likely get pretty slick in certain scenarios.Still, it is a stout step that easily supports all her weight and has enough surface area for her to slightly maneuver once on it. The rubber feet practically lock to the ground. I don't know how long that grip will last, but out of the box it is great.Adjusting the height isn't as easy as I would like (you screw or unscrew the feet to do it), but since she needs them as low as possible it's not an issue for me. Still, it would be possible to "adjust" the step and have it be unlevel and needing a little trial and error to get it right.Overall, an excellently built, easy to assemble step. It costs a bit more than others, but it is money well-spent.

I used 2 of these to elevate some outdoor speakers which had been resting directly on the patio. They are are very sturdy due to their real purpose but will see how they hold up over time. Everything is labelled properly and there is even a separate spare parts bag (Kudos to the MFR for this!). Setup was easy but recommend using a ratchet and the included bit not the allen wrench. I did have an issue with one of the plastic anchor inserts being busted so would not hold a screw but the spare parts bag had a replacement anchor and it worked great so I consider this a win. Very pleased. For use as a proper step I would say it depends on the use-case - for older folks maybe something a little wider but the height is okay and it is certainly robust enough.

This is made of material that looks good n that is very sturdy. It supports my weight when I step on it without the slightest wiggle. It is wide enough to turn around on when getting in bed.

Perfect little step stool! Assembled in just a few minutes. Sturdy but not heavy, great color, nice rounded edges, adjustable feet, non slip strips are very handy. Works well to give me a little boost so I can use my register. Highly recommended

very sturdy. short and stout. could support a very heavy person when used as a step stool. I use them to elevate speakers off the floor, somehow they match with the console I already use.
