Easy to build, but take time to familiarise first
Great product, I suggest taking a little time arranging the uprights in the same direction, this makes measuring where the shelf supports need to go. Rubber mallet a must and a good sturdy screwdriver to persuade the slip system to engage properly. I built 5 units and it did get easier after the first.

Good for the price
Not as solid as I was expecting from the weight rating stated but they are sturdy enough. Not sure why others struggled with the construction of them, they are simple to put together and only took a few minutes.I've had the shelves loaded for several weeks and they've been fine.The shelves are nice and deep which are far more useful than the standard 300mm. Due to the extra depth it doesn't feel necessary to have to fix them to the wall as they are pretty stable (but might be a good idea if you have heavy items on the higher shelves).From looking at other products on the market I think you could spend far more money and not get much more.

Be warned the Amazon box damaged option, is the wrong one
Its a great robust, cheap product, I bought a double version 5 years ago, note at half the price.Be warned when picking the Amazon box damaged option, it seems to be the wrong one, its the stronger 600kg, shorter 1770mm Storalex which Amazon doesn't seem to sell.I was buying to put along side the previous purchases so needed it to match, so had to return

Inexpensive, but very flimsy and really difficult to put together.
This item is inexpensive, but that shows in the quality. The metal is so flimsy that it bends and distorts really easily. When trying to get the lugs to go together more often than not, they bend and don't go through the slots properly, This makes it difficult to put together. The MDF shelves are really thin and will easily break, so don't expect them to take much weight.You get what you pay for and with hindsight, I should have paid more for a sturdier product. I would not buy again,

Better deal than ordered
Not sure what happened with my order but I elected for a box damaged set of shelving at a discounted price from Amazon but received a more robust set of shelves which was a bit of a bonus. Very pleased with them. Easy to construct.

Was expecting a bit more stability, but otherwise, easy to assemble and good storage for the price...

On the positive side they were fairly easy to assemble
The USP of these is shelves is that they slot together without the need for any nuts and bolts. This has advantages and disadvantages. On the positive side they were fairly easy to assemble. On the downside once built they are not as solid as a conventional bolted together unit. For example I had to build them in one room then move them to another. This was difficult to achieve without various joints separating. Once in situ and with the wooden shelves in place I thought they would have become much more rigid than they did. Unfortunately they remain quite wobbly and I think the only way to overcome this would be to attach them firmly to the wall, which I had hoped to avoid doing. All that said they do the job I purchased them to do so I am happy enough with my purchase.
