These were great! Fresh and packed nicely. Just wish it was more variety, but would definitely recommend!

My family had never tried this kind of candy before and I'm trying to encourage my oldest kid to be an adventurous eater. What better way to convince a kid they like trying new things than by doing it with candy?? My partner discovered they don't like tamarind, so they were not a fan of any of these. I don't mind the tamarind, but found it a little bland. The mango ones were the nicest - so tangy, with just a little heat. I would compare the texture of these to something between a skittle and a fruit leather. And kiddo loved them! I didn't let them try any of the "extra hot" flavors, as they still find black pepper a little spicy, lol, but maybe we'll work up to it. These were good!

When it comes to big candy brands and buying in bulk, you tend to have a lot of options on Amazon, but when it comes to smaller more ethnically niche candies, options dwindle and you can find yourself shelling out just as much money for a small bag as you would for a multi-pound bulk bag of a better known brand.This bag of Pulparindo Mexican candy is a good example of a (sort of) bulk option for a niche candy that won't break the bank.Pulparindo's selection here are in line with what I've come to expect from their candy line-up with medium to pretty dang spicy takes on popular flavors like watermelon, mango, and tamarind.I only discovered chamoy-style gummies last year, but I've enjoyed Pulparindo's watermelon candies for quite a while now and this 4-flavor pack has those, while also letting me try the extra spicy tamarind flavor for the first time, which our household was looking forward to and really enjoyed once we did.***Overall Value***It's hard to argue with the value of this bag as it's only $9 (at the time of review) and you get 20 packs plus a bonus push-pop style candy.

The flavors are a little interesting from an American perspective. The fruity flavors were definitely a little more normal, especially the watermelon, but the amount of saltiness in the flavor was a little interesting. It’s not the normal American candy I’m used to. That’s the point of trying candy from other countries though, to try something new!I did like that at least some of the individual packages inside had expiration dates on them, as the larger pack itself didn’t have one. Not that they’ll make it to them, but it’s nice to have. Otherwise, I feel there was a decent variety of flavors and spiciness levels to give this Pulparindo candy a try, and I would recommend it if you’re someone who either likes the candy already, or wants to try something new!

This was my first time trying these candies. The little balls were fantastic and I loved all of the flavors. The fruit leathers - the flavored ones were good but the spicy and original were no-go's for me. I'm scared to try the squeeze bottle.The flavors are a unique combination of sweet and spicy that there is no way to explain through a review, but if you like trying new things and have a bit of a funky sweet tooth, these are certainly worth a try.

The bag of candy is pretty large and has a good variety of Mexican candy. It will be great as party favors or for someone that loves this kind of candy. The pieces are individually wrapped and fresh. There’s only one flavor I’ve tried before and it’s my favorite so I’ve only tried it from this bag (and it was just as yummy as I remember) but I’m looking forward to tasting the other flavors.
