Quality plate but screws too short to attach neck

The plate looks nice and is good quality but the provided hardware is way too short and unusable! The screws only protrude 1/4 inch coming out from inside the neck pocket and is not anywhere near long enough to hold a neck on a guitar body. I also ordered a gold version and same scenario with the hardware being too short!
