Really pleased with Kilrock Mega-K Multi-Purpose Descaler 2 X 1 Litre. Living in a hard water area, limescale builds up quickly on kettles, shower heads and coffee machines, but this stuff cuts through it with very little effort. It works fast and leaves appliances looking and performing far better afterwards. Kettles boil more quietly, shower flow improves, and it even freshened up an older steam iron that I thought was beyond saving. I also like that it’s biodegradable and phosphate free, which is a nice bonus for such a powerful cleaner. The two large bottles give excellent value and last ages because only a small amount is needed each time. A dependable household product that genuinely works. Highly recommended.

This is amazing and works phenomenally well. I have tried other descalers in the past, but this is the only one I now buy. It does exactly what it is supposed to do and removes limescale really well. Simple, effective and reliable.

This is the only stuff that clears my kettle of build up here in London. Also clears limescale in toilets.

Arrive quickly I only us this to descale my kettle and iron but it works perfectly , no leaks , good value does circulate, removed the scale quickly

I was doing some work in an house when a professional cleaner came in. They were working in the kitchen and tutted at the kettle. They poured in some of this and brought it to the boil. Literally two mins later this glass kettle that looks proper manky was suddenly looking brands new. amazing stuff!

Got rid of terrible lime scale out the loo. Just remember to remove water out of toilet bowl first, and then follow instructions. Works a treat.

Wow! Wish I had found this earlier! STW say our water is soft... but I have to disagree! - Put in my kettle per instructions, left for 3 hours. From maybe 2-3mm thick limescale it is "as new" inside. - Used on my lor barista pod machine as cheaper than the official cleaning solution. My machine is well worn... so is a bit loud. The pump definitely struggled less after using this (I pumped some through then turned the cleaning cycle off and left it to sit overnight) - Carefully poured about 1/8 bottle down our toilet which had grown a big patch of limescale in the u-bend which was visible. Next morning (after flushing with teh lid still down to avoid spray) it was "like new" Every other instruction on the back is pretty much "wear protective gloves and dont get it on skin"... I'm thinking its probably concentrated hydrochloric acid (given its phosphate free... so cant be phosphoric acid) to be able to work so effectively; **definitely** heed the safety warnings as this stuff is VERY strong. I didnt want to measure exactly 80ml and risk splashing it anywhere so I just free poured by eye into whatever i was cleaning... maybe it would get 12 doses of 80ml if you were more accurate. But for the price and effectiveness its the best I've used for cleaning toilets and kettles.

Very pleased with this product. I live in an area with extremely hard water. Lime scale builds up around the water line of my toilets and this is truly the first purchase (and I've searched the market believe me) which has made a difference. Very happy customer.
