Great pan
This is a great pan and if you buy the seal to it you won’t regret it . Sealed right up and is way easier the the original pan to move around between frame and motor on install

Great oil pan and gasket when installed correctly.
If you want to do the job the right way, you have to pull the motor. It's easier than you think. Anyways I used this pan with the stud and gasket kit from moroso.-You have to use a little ford sealer where the instructions state.-Research how to tighten pan bolts. Start from the middle and work your way out.-Torque the nuts onto the stud in two stages.-The gasket has to seat perfectly at the flywheel and harmonic balancer.-For you dudes that have oil puking out of the seal.....You haven't seated the seal correctly. If you try to do this job with the engine in you are going to compound your problem. If you are a certified shop doing this job with the engine in the vehicle.....shame on you.So fast forward to today. My oil pan is completely spotless. Not one drip or seep of oil. If I have to do this over I would go this same route. I'm liking Moroso more and more each time I use their products. Thank You and worth every penny.

looks the same as my Ford pan
Looks the same as my Ford pan that just came out of the truck. It is supposed to be thicker, but does not appear to be. I did not use any instrument to measure thickness, but just appears to be the same. It looks like it is just spray paint, don't expect the paint to be super thick or powder coated. i called Moroso, and he claimed it was an authentic pan, and that it is epoxy powder coated, but it doesn't look like it to my untrained eye. also, there is not a magnetic drain plug. If i were to buy again, i would just buy the Ford pan, and put bed-liner spray or POR 15 on it.

NOT MOROSO.....Has SPI stamped on it. That's Spectra Premium Industries(Canadian Eng. Co. that makes stuff for OBS)
I wanted a Moroso Oil Pan, but what came was a pan made by SPI in canada. It was in a box with a Moroso part number & a Giant "Moroso" sticker on the pan itself. But is clearly stamped SPIMoroso is in CT....as far as I can see, this is not a Moroso Oil Pan as advertised!one of the other indicators other than the fact it is stamped "SPI"is that it did NOT COME with the magnetic oil drain plug as the Real Moroso Oil Pan does! Also, it does NOT appear to have the Moroso series of finish.ieHeavy Duty, stamped out of 16 gauge quality steel which is thicker than O.E.M.Moroso has a triple coat finishing process of a zinc phosphate, which besides creating a durable finish foundation, also neutralizes any corrosion started by the welding process itself. The second coat is a black 1-mil thick electrocoat and the last coat is a gloss black epoxy powdercoat. This process has been fine tuned from years of oil pan building experience and from this Moroso oil pan design being subjected to numerous salt spray testing. The O.E.M. oil pan only has a black painted surfaceI'm not sure how the SPI oil pan that came in a box with Moroso label stacks up to the OEM or REAL Moroso Product.Am sending it back and going for a more expensive but Genuine Product.the SPI may be thicker, but it definitely is not finished to last...it maybe just spray painted like OEM which is rusting

Moroso oil pan & THATS THE BOTTOM LINE
SPI is stamped on the pan but after reading reviews I called Moroso & asked them about it said yes they make them to there specs ship to them then they inspect them then put there 3 coat paint process on them then the stickers then send them out with a magnetic plug in them & there you have it another quality product by Moroso
