48/72V 1500W Brushless Motor Speed Controller Replacement for E-Bike Electric Bicycle Scooter

The wiring diagram posted in the ad for this s item is not even close to accurate. It shows 2 brake handle leads, and a 5 wire plug for linking a display. Neither of these are present on the controller. The diagram also shows a six wire hall, but the controller only has 5 wires. Bought this to replace a failed controller in an ebike, but the items falsely shown in the wiring diagram are required for the bike, and so the controller is unusable for my application.

I have to update my review. I’ll leave the old one up but it’s just not enough to describe this controller. Absolute beast. Smooth, steady, reliable and my controller of choice in my personal scoots. I tend to push the boundaries of speed and power and to do that you have to have gear that is willing to do that with you. This controller is a easy hook up and has tons of power. Can take a beating and can be swapped out from scoot to scoot without burning up and that is rare.Last for a long time and yeah sometimes you get a faulty ones but when you get one that’s good it’s real good. Just remember you have to have a hub that can handle the power.Works very well with lots of power. Got to make sure you have a hub motor that can handle the watts. Really easy to change voltage from 60v up to 84v if you’re savvy. Unfortunately they don’t seem to last to long and could probably use a better quality mosfet. So when it burns up upgrade those and you got a very solid controller that is a beast for the price.

There were no instruction that came with the controller. Attempted to wire it up to my ebike with no lick none of the wiring harnesses where labeled. In the end I am sending it back no introduction and no labeling. I never did get it to work.

didnt have 100 volt capacitors inside but it does have 80 volt ones. beware going to 72v or if you do don't charge your battery past 80 or you will eventually blow the caps. otherwise strong controller and if you know what to do to the board you can enable regen braking. customer service is top notch

It shipped on time just fine, and there certainly is a motor controller. Advertised as 48v 1500w controller, it's actually an 800w controller, not a big deal I guess. I did kind of expect that the seller was at least repackaging these however, but they aren't, the package and instructions are entirely in Chinese, only half the wires are labeled, and only half those labels were translated correctly to make any sense, so beware there's going to be a lot of research or guesswork to figure out what you're doing with this.
