TRAX 3: Signalling and Lever Frames

For those who wish to unravel the dark arts of Railway Signalling then this book is required reading. It serves as an initiation to what is really quite a complex subject. It is extremely helpful to tyros like myself, and I feel would also benefit those who already have a grasp of this black art, even if only for reference. Happily and heartily recommended.

If, like me,you don't have specific interest in railway signalling but know you need to think about it to add realism to a model railway then this is an excellent generic guide to the basic. The bonus i it comes with the TRAX 3 layout design software which enables you to design and test both track plans and signal logic.

Excellent book. Now to learn the program.

Bought this to get the updated windows 7 version of the software which is fully updated.Referance to book led me to believe information on first 2 additions would be updated as well NO.Expensive way to get this upgrade.If you are interested in the complicated (very) information about levers and and setting up this sort of system then this could be for you.If you want to know about basic railway signaling for a model railway there are more simpler books.
