Nice product! I love it.
It is a little flimsy but it stays up. For the price and it’s purpose it’s perfect! It’s a nice prop for Christmas pictures by the tree. I don’t have a fire place. I put a half round table behind it and fits pretty perfectly. I’ll probably tape it somehow. I will put a light being the flame to brighten it up. For me it will work perfectly! Exactly what I had in mind!

NOT electric misleading info in info and specs
I read the information in the specs and it literally says corded/electric and reading that along with the videos I understood it to be electric. Even if it was just a corded small light to put in it to make it glow would have been Great, but it's just the flat piece. It's not even cardboard, its thick paper like card stock. It's cute, but not what we expected to pay $11 dollars for.

Cute for what I needed it for!
I thought this was very cute addition to our Christmas decor, we don’t have a fire place and hung this next to tree on the wall. Yes it is only poster board size but we added lights around it and hung stockings over the top and it was adorable. Good for small spaces and makeshift fireplace feel on a small budget!

Not as well made as it use to be.
I have bought this many times in the past and it use to be the thick cardboard and was a bit larger. Now it is like thick poster paper rather than cardboard. I like to use it in my classroom as a 3 dimensional prop for the kids. They love it. Here is what I had to do. I went to the dollar tree and got 3 of the thick black poster boards. The ones that are basically styrofoam with paper on both sides. I then took a box cutter and cut the middle out of the fireplace. Then I cut the poster board to reinforce the sides and the image. Then I attached lengthwise pieces of the boards to give depth to the fireplace and attached the cut out fire behind and perpendicular to those boards this gave me a place to put a fake fireplace(not one with heat just a prop). The light and fake fire brought out the image in the back. Last I made a mantle out of the purchased poster board. I added that on top and used some push pins to attach stockings. I forgot to get a picture but it still looked great. The students loved it and it was really sturdy when all that was complete. The image itself is wonderful. Vibrant colors and realistic look. It is just on cheap paper so it really should come down with price. For an extra $9 for the fake fireplace prop and $3.75 for the poster boards and a little tape/glue $2, you have a nice prop you can reuse if you carefully take it apart and put it away, which I did. Next year I will only need some more blue painters tape and I will have my fireplace prop gtg. I don’t think I would use it flimsy as it is year to year. But this is the only one I know how to get so I would purchase it again. It does what it should and meets the need.

Pay for what you get but you can make it Awesome!
Firstly, know that you always pay for what you get. This is inexpensive af, and as such will need modification if you don't want it to look like it's pricetag. I used mine to decorate my cube at work without dropping too much, and it worked well to add the things I couldn't do myself. Like details and the flames. Picture/print quality was clear; it was as thick as I expected which is to say juust enough to stand if you prop it just right. It arrived with some creasing that made it harder than necessary. Hence 4 stars. That could have been controlled (possibly.) It was shipped well, but the inner package was pre wrinkled a bit. Overall good value and arrived quickly.

Cardboard fire place
I got this to use at Christmas in a visitor center. It was easy to put up and looked awesome. I hung stockings for each of the volunteers. It made the area look very festive!

So bad it's funny.
I should've listened to the bad reviews, but thought, how bad could it be? Well folks, it truly is something that you probably wouldn't want to pay than a fiver for.Super thin, I would say not even poster board thickness, but more like the card that's inside when you buy pantyhose or something. Technically, it can stand on it's own as shown in one picture, but if someone walks by it too fast it'll be on the ground. The other two pics are just to show how it's delivered. I was surprised when tracking said the fake fireplace was left in the mailbox, but yep, there it was.I'm gonna try and salvage it by adding cardboard backing and a cardboard base so that it doesn't look like it belongs in a dolls house (it's also very small), but I really didn't want to spend an hour or more fixing up a cheap prop to go in the background of a Christmas scene.Buyer beware on this one.
