WORX WX060.1 Jaw Horse Portable Clamping Workbench Workstation with Tool Tray

I have been reviewing and humming and hawing for a couple of months over getting a new portable clamping device: the old one I have has given up the ghost and the brand is not what it used to be according to reviews. I have also used some cheapo DIY store ones over the years and wanted something better, more stable and durable. Well, this is it: rock solid and, on the basis of what else is out there, properly reliable. I bought a roller stand to go with it, so the overall cost is a bit higher than I had wanted to pay originally, but I am completely satisfied with my purchase. Folded down it is quite compact, even though it is heavy. It opens out well and locks into place to provide a solid clamp and saw horse. Like any saw horse, you do need something else to support the work, hence my getting a roller stand, but a home made wooden sawhorse would do as well.

I wish that I bought one of these years ago! Appears to be very sturdy and well made. Reassuringly heavy and easy to use.I think that this will prove to be of much more use than the portable DIY work tables that I previously owned.

What a brilliant device. Just finished using it for the first time and it makes sawing screwing and clamping so simple. I don't have a large garden so I have no bench vice, grinding wheels etc in the shed. I can now bolt these items to a short plank an I have a work bench at the perfect height, but can be put away in seconds. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the Worx Jaw Horse. Brilliant

Like this product, cheaper than competition, how ever leg adjustment slide broke On second use currently glued back.Single leg needs constant checking / 're tightening

Brilliant bit of kit. I made a table top for it out of 1” birch ply and chucked my old workmate away. Great investment.

everything clicks solidly into place, even gripped a machet blade so I couldn't even wriggle it... on a 2ft long lever! Solidly built, far superior to the B&D workmate type workbenches. Tool tray is a nice bonus, slides on from the end, so it doesn't fall off when using the jawshorse... Hoping to get the Benchjaw model if they release it in the UK, once I finish building my workshop. ..

This really is an excellent and sturdy product. Holds anything you are working on securely in place. The handy foot release means your hands are free. I sadly only gave it four stars being sturdy as the front folding foot does not have a rubber foot. This leads to slipping on certain surfaces. Apart from that, it is one really useful piece of kit.

Really great. Wish I had got one of these a long time ago!Easy to use.It may be heavier than you expect especially for something that is supposed to be portable and put up and down all the time - but that also makes it strong!

E' un'idea veramente brillante! il triangolo è la forma geometrica strutturalmente più resistente, e con tre piedi è perfettamente stabile anche su superfici sconnesse. Robusto quanto basta e decisamente maneggevole.sostituisce egregiamente un tavolo da lavoro.

Einfach super diese Werkbank! Ich hatte vorher bereits 2 einfachere Werktische, bei denen das Werkstück durch Drehen der beiden Kurbeln eingespannt wird und nie richtig festhielt. Hier bei dieser Jawhorse-Werkbank lässt sich das Werkstück in Sekunden fest spannen; da dies durch Betätigen des Fußpedals geschieht, kann man das Werkstück mit beiden Händen sehr gut in Position halten! Auch beim Bearbeiten hält es bombenfest. Wiederum durch Betätigen des Fußpedals lässt sich das Werkstück einfach aus der Verspannung lösen. Praktisch ist auch die Werkzeugablage, die fest auf die mittlere Schiene geklemmt werden kann. Hier hat man immer Platz für Schrauben, Zollstock, Stift etc.Nach getaner Arbeit kann man die Werkbank einfach zusammenklappen, so dass sie gut in Ecken verstaut werden kann. Ich bin absolut begeistert und würde sie sofort wieder kaufen.

habe ich das Gerät aufgestellt. Jeder Handgriff vermittelt den Eindruck von solidem Material und Robustheit. Das Aufstellen geht schnell und einfach von der Hand.Das Gerät steht sicher und ist schwer genug, um auch große Werkstücke halten zu können und bei kraftvollen Arbeiten nicht zu verrutschen. Zur Sicherheit kann es sogar am Boden verschraubt werden.Der Praxistest: Bearbeitung von Fachwerkbalken, die eingespannt und dann mit Stemmeisen und Säge bearbeitet wurden. Bestanden! Der Spannmechanismus lässt sich leicht und einfach bedienen und wieder lösen. Die Backen halten fest und sicher.Ich kann das Gerät ausdrücklich empfehlen.

Non mi aspettavo un prodotto perfetto.Avevo in mente la solita "cinesata" verniciata male piena di sbavature e con pezzi saldati fuori dima e invece è perfetta. E' molto utile per chi ama il bricolage estremo. L'unica cosa che modificherò sono le gambe. Per chi ha mal di schiena ed è alto oltre i 180 cm avere 10 o 15 cm in più come altezza della morsa sarebbe opportuno. Quindi modifica per rendere le gambe telescopiche.
