No. Knife is very thin and scales are strong

Is it ambidextrous im a left hander thanks?

It's supposed to be but they no longer provide the left side clip with the knife. There is however a deep carry option that works on both sides. Deep carry clips that fit the zt 0462 will work on this. Just search zt 0462 deep carry clip on eBay and you'll see many options .

Are there any liners under the handles and are they solid with no skeletonizing?

There is a liner but it's not steel like the lone star hunter, the original version of this knife. It is although a great knife as far as I'm concerned. Easy to keep sharp. A working man's tool
