Microwave Baked Potato Cooker As Seen On Tv Cook In Minutes Tender

This thing makes the best baked potato ever. So, much better than just sticking your potato in one of those special microwave bags or wrapping in paper towel to microwave. My potato would either not be done on the inside or turn crispy and hard on the outside. And baking in the oven takes forever. This little microwave potato cooker makes them perfect. They make the perfect potato texture and they are nice and creamy and no hard skin. It is a little smaller than I pictured but you can easily fit 2 large baking potatoes or 3 medium size potatoes with no problem. I cooked 1 large potato for 6 min and let set 2 min and was perfect. I cooked 2 large potatoes for 10 min and let set 2 min and also perfectly cooked. I am not sure about cleaning in the dishwasher as it was easy to just quickly hand wash and put back in the box to store away. My dishwasher seems to warp everything so didn’t want to temped fate as the cooker is not a very thick material but it seems sturdy.

Easy to use, wash potato, dry, put in Baked Potato Cooker and into microwave. Very good. My first potato was a large one. I cooked it 7 minutes, then touched it, not soft enough. Put it back in microwave for 2 minutes. Perfect! I love it and recommend it for anyone who wants to cook 1 or 2 potatoes at a time. I have not tried any other food yet but plan to soon.

I was very skeptical at first being that this is an “as seen on TV“ product. I have not had very much success with “as seen on TV” products, but this has turned it around! No more poking holes into your potato with a fork. I have a 1000 W microwave. I wash my potato, put it in a container and latch it, and cook it for seven minutes in the microwave. The potato comes out nice and soft. No undercooked areas of the potato! Potatoes that I cook are fairly large, so if you have a smaller potato, you may want to decrease time. There is a handy little chart in the instruction manual. You can even make other types of potatoes. I haven’t tried any other, except for the russet kind. I’m really impressed with this product! I would highly recommend.

This will give you a nice baked potato in the microwave. It comes out done and a little bit fluffy. Takes about 12 to 15 minutes for a normal size russet baking potato. The only downside is it does not have a crispy skin. And you have to be careful because the latches on the lid break easily. But it still works out either latch.

It really works very well and tastes like it's been baked, not microwaved.If you know what I mean. But if you have too big potatoes , I would suggest one at a time what I'll leave that up to you. It's truly a wonderful gadget like it highly recommend.

I made the mistake of getting a potato bag that was supposed to be 100% cotton (including the thread). I had used it several times and it worked fine UNTIL... it caught fire in one corner, and if I hadn't been in the room, it would have been entirely in flames. THIS cooker is amazing. I usually have one fairly large potato that only takes five to six minutes and is wonderfully soft and ready to go. I love steaming my potatoes in this and will try other things also. Maybe will try corn on the cob. The cooker itself is not hot to the touch, but make sure to be careful when you let the steam out.

Good kitchen helper for quick baked potatoes. Good quality. Does well in dishwasher top rack. Five stars. One small reminder. As you use it you may have to rewrite some of the timing schedules. My full size Whirlpool microwave takes whole minutes LESS than the directions state in the printed instructions. I’ve already changed the time for doing three whole potatoes so watch the first attempts closely for timing and write in your own cook times. Other than that, a good bargain.

I bought this thinking "there's no way this works well". I was wrong. It worked well. I'm going to using this a lot.

Does the job to have enough potatoes for the whole family -

I love this gadget because it makes my jacket potatoes nice and fluffy inside. The only problem is if the potatos are too large for the lid to close. I just cut the potato in half length wise and I can close the lid.
