This Levity & Co. Coffee & Charcoal Face Scrub comes dressed up for gift-giving in a black box with a red ribbon tied in a bow, and crinkle strip confetti.The scrub itself was a much different consistency than I expected: very thick, and very dry. The top looked almost crusty, and it was not initially appealing. At first I was apprehensive to use it on my face because of the texture, so massaged it onto my body. I was pleasantly surprised that it rubbed on like a thick, gentle butter rather than a gritty and crumbly scrub as I had imagined by looking at it. I tried this later on my face and found I actually love this best as a face scrub as it's intended! It's gently exfoliating, moisturizing, and doesn't leave the face feeling oily like some scrubs. You need only the smallest amount. The coffee smell is also strong and invigorating.

This scrub is interesting, but I think in a good way. You have to get past the way it looks because it’s like mud. It is extremely thick. It’s a bit messy to wash off too because it is so dark so you have to be careful to rinse it off well. I used a small sponge to test it in case it stained, which it did a little so you’d want to be careful about what you use to apply it and take it off. It doesn’t take much so don’t over apply. I think it smells like a mixture of chocolate and coffee. I really couldn’t smell the charcoal as much. It comes in a very small container so it is good for travel but i think it is expensive for the amount you get.All that said, the scrub does a nice job and I feel like my skin was bright and tight after using it. However, I do not think this is something I would reorder, partly because of the cost per use and partly because of the scrub color and consistency. It is just not what I like in a scrub.

I love trying new facial scrubs and love coffee scented products so was eager to try out this Levity & Co. - Coffee & Charcoal Face Scrub.So, I do have fairly sensitive skin (my whole body). This was a little too harsh for my face unfortunately. I used it on my body and it definitely wasn’t as harsh. But just super thick, to the point I was scared it would clog my drains.Although I did not have any adverse reactions, I have discontinued use as I just am not a huge fan and have several other scrubs that I prefer over this one.

The Levity & Co. Coffee & Charcoal Face Scrub is pretty excellent! It’s gritty, as it should be, without being harsh and it left my skin feeling clean and new. The scent is interesting with both a coffee note and something else, which I think is orange oil (I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure that’s what I’m smelling). The ingredients list does say “essential oil” but doesn’t specify which. I hope they will list the actual oil in the future, in case of allergies. I also would love to see this come with a mini popsicle stick so we don’t have to put our fingers directly in the jar. But all-in-all, a lovely presentation, smells great, and works great!

Smells so good and left my skin feeling so soft.

It smells just like a Starbucks latte, which is heavenly. The scrub itself is also quite good - it exfoliates nicely and leaves my skin feeling smooth. My only major complaint is that the container is too small. At 4.5 oz, it's not going to last very long, especially since I use it twice a week. Considering the price point, I wish it came in a larger size. That being said, if you're looking for a delicious-smelling face scrub that actually works, give this one a try. Just be prepared to repurchase it frequently!

I just can't get past the scent so I can't use it on my face. It does work well as an exfoliator - I tried it on my feet. I think it might be best for oilier skin.

This is a great exfoliator! Smells like coffee, and leaves your skin feeling invigorating! Love this stuff!
