Nautica Navigator and Skipper Underwater Seascooters, Designed for Younger Recreational Divers and Snorkelers

This is the 5th of these we've purchased. It's gotten to be a rite of passage for our grandchildren. They use the heck out of them in pools and on vacation around Florida. The battery maintenance could be improved with some minimal investment by the mfg., but as long as someone in the household has a little electrical expertise they are easily maintained.

I bought this as a surprise for my grandkids to take on our family beach vacation. They loved it! We only used it in the pool, but it should be fine in the ocean too. It floats well in fresh water, so will float even better in salt water. 5 of my 6 grandkids all rode it, including a grandson not quite 3 years old. His arms were not quite long enough, but he figured out how to sort of crawl up on top of it and away he went! When we got home we had it at the neighborhood pool and a whole bunch of kids wanted to try it. After about 30-40 minutes of non stop use, it did start to cut out a bit. I am 99.9% sure this was due to the battery overheating a bit from too much continuous use, because after a 10-15 minute test, it was fine.

Horrible product. DO NOT BUY. BROKE AFTER 2 months. Was SO SLOW. DRIPPED CHEMICALS ALL OVER MY OUTDOOR CONCRETE PAVERS and stained them too. Seller won't return. This is a piece of JUNK and it ruined my patio

Doesn't float. The battery compartment fills with water. My kids still enjoy it. Not sure it's worth the price. Also, we ordered the blue and gray one but received the blue and orange.

For a scooter being considered for children I would think twice about this one. It is very difficult to maintain and assemble before every use. One has to add silicone lubricant and that is a mess. We use it mostly in our pool and it’s really only marginally adequate for my smaller lighter kids.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My son absolutely loves this. He has had hours of fun playing in the pool with this. Great purchase.

I believe when I receive this item it growled under a year saltwater pool and it now no longer wants to work right has no power it is making all kinds of grinding noises and the blade hardly turns I went off and bought an extra battery for this unit and now it's no good I'm going to spend good money and buy a better one that hopefully will last longer than under a year.

Kiddos love them

Not very fast (not for an adult) but so much fun for the kids. We use it in the pool.

Oh my goodness kids are having a great time with this!
