I was super worried about this color, seeing as it looked more grey in other reviews, but it matched my room perfectly and was more of an ash beige! My partner works night shifts at times so we needed something that was truly light blocking and these definitely delivered and darkened the room immensely! The fabric feels thick and expensive, yet soft as well. And the room definitely felt cooler as soon as we put them up. Definitely recommend! I also included a photo of my off white bedding pillow next to my wall and the curtains as a color reference.

We recently had a baby and needed to make our bedroom completely pitch black, and these curtains worked perfectly. The cream color and linen texture look great and feel much more expensive than they are. They block out the light extremely well, and I’ll slowly be upgrading the rest of my house with these!

Love these curtains. I've purchased multiple different colors and lengths for different room and have been happy with all of them. There are several options to hang with the curtain rod depending on the style you want. They are thick and truly block out so much light. Accurate color descriptions. Easy to hang. Great quality. Improve the appearance of the room and function for reasonable price.

These are a nice, substantial pair with excellent light-blocking ability; the pic is from the middle of the day and you can see there is minimal light leakage around the window (it's still light in the room because the doorway and the other, bigger window is completely uncovered). The tabs work well, though the end edge of the curtain is stiffer so it tends to sort of stay open at the margin rather than completely stacking flat. It works to "train" the curtain to bunch evenly by pleating it at the top, middle, and bottom (this is important to me because I don't want them to block any of the light from the window when we are not watching movies). Right out of the box, they smell fine. They ARE pretty wrinkled, and the "care sheet" is a bit lacking--don't understand why they can't be tumbled dry, nor what a "cool iron" really means. I used the "rayon/polyester" setting, just below "cotton blend" on my iron, with a damp press cloth over the curtain, and it took out most of the packing wrinkles without having any shiny texture change, but suggest you test this on the thick inner hem with your own iron settings. The texture is that of a coarse linen, very fine burlap, and I saw no flaws except for a bit of a pulled thread at the bottom hem of one of the panels. For me, this doesn't matter, since it's hidden behind the Chesterfield, and if fact, it was refreshing to see that the hems were all sewn nicely, without a lot of dangling or tangled threads. These are moderately heavy, so it's worth considering waxing your rod, to allow them to pull smoothly, and also making your own rod out of painted conduit, rather than accept the current FrankenRod trend, of a bunch of short segments screwed together, which will definitely sag under the weight. I love that there were so many color choices and am happy with the neutral gray, which is close to our wall color. Overall, I'm very happy! I suspect the remaining wrinkles will "fall out" over time.

Great at Blocking Light I’m really happy with these curtains. They do a great job of blocking out light, which makes a noticeable difference in the room, especially when I’m trying to sleep during the daytime. The material feels good and they hang nicely once installed. I also like that they give the room a more cozy and comfortable feel while providing the privacy I wanted. Overall, I’m very satisfied with them. If you’re looking for curtains that actually help block out sunlight, I would definitely recommend these.

These curtains really elevated the look of my family room. I hung them with the back tab option. They are still a little wrinkled, I put them up mid-summer and do not plan on steaming them until it cools off in the fall. I ordered these for my son as well, he threw them in the dryer first and said it took all the wrinkles out, but I wasn’t sure if I was keeping mine so I just put them up to live with them for a minute. They really darken the room during the day when you close them. I am also hoping they help with the drafty windows during the winter, we shall see. I did go back-and-forth with the color (ordering online is so hard to determine what the actual color is going to be in your room), I was going to send them back to try a different warmer shade but everyone told me they look beautiful. The linen texture is really nice, although they do feel a they do feel a little plasticky as all blackout curtains do. All in all, I am very happy with the price and how they look.

True blackout curtains. Hangs well. Does not appear overly thick. Easy to pull back. Color as shown.

These blackout curtains are beautiful and look like the same material as the ones from Pottery Barn, West Elm and other high end stores. I bought the oatmeal colour to compliment our BM Revere Pewter bedroom walls, and I am super happy with them as they have different thread colours in the weave with good texture. They are a true oatmeal colour with no grey or pink tones. They were a bit wrinkled out of the package, but I popped them in the dryer for a few minutes (be careful, though, as the label says not to do that) and then ran a warm iron over the fabric side. This removed most of the wrinkles and the remaining ones should fall out with time. I am a shift worker so having a dark bedroom is key, and these curtains provide 100% total blackout for our east facing bedroom. I purposely purchased rod style mounting to prevent any light sneaking in at the top as it does with grommet style curtains. The only thing I'll do now is update our actual curtain rod to one that bends towards the wall to allow the curtains to be flush with the wall at the sides. The back is light grey, and even though the packaging says the backing is rubber, it is soft to the touch and doesn't make noise when moving the curtains. I absolutely love these curtains, and they have elevated the look in our room. NOTE - I purchased four panels total to cover our large window, so there are two panels depicted in the room photo.
