My Son Carlo: Carlo Acutis Through the Eyes of His Mother

This is a must read for every Catholic. The story of this young man, now Saint is remarkable. Increased my Faith just reading this book.

I was so impressed with Carlos' mother in an interview that I knew I had to get her book. This is a must read book for everyone, but especially for our youth and parents. There are stories in here that only his mom could share. I feel like I know Carlo and I'm praying to him everyday for my litany of intentions. Carlo was beyond his years with a deep understanding of the human weakness and necessity to work on our faults. A few months after the death of his grandfather, he appeared to Carlo dressed in blue asking for prayers because he was in Purgatory. Few days after the death of Sister Lucia (Fatima seer) appeared to him in a dream. She shared that the first 5 Saturdays of the month could change the destiny of the world. Carlo had a great love for the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist and would love to visit churches. He believed we could all be saints and that we should go to daily Mass and receive Holy Communion. He loved the poor and worked so his money could help them. He also wasn't afraid to speak the truth to his friends about sins of the flesh. There are numerous edyfing stories that will inspire the young and young at heart. His mother believes that the two canonized saints in their family obtained the special grace for her son. I was so moved by this book that I finished it so quickly and I sent one to my God-son. Good book to read about his life.

I'm not a big reader, but I read this book in under a week! I absolutely adore this wonderful saint! And who better to read about him from than his own mother? It's an amazing memoir filled with stories and personal writings/quotes from Carlo and those closest to him. Even though I'm a 30 year old convert, I have felt a huge connection to him since talks of his canonization began stirring. Saint Carlo Acutis, Pray for us! 🙏

This is an inspiring story of a new young saint.

Carlo Acutis’ amazing journey to sanctitude. Excellent detail expressed though his mom’s words about his love and devotion for the Holy Sacrament. However, since the book was originally written in Italian, some words and thoughts meaning were lost in translation into English.

Thank you Antonia for writing this lovely book about you Saint Son. Carlo's words, reflections and perspectives in this book made me so happy and I learned a lot about God. Life changing book!

I enjoyed this book and drew two conclusions: it is both a collection of catechistic teachings Carlo imparted to his mother Antonia, and a treasury of inspiring stories, quotes, and wisdom from Carlo—now St. Carlo—whose life touched millions across generations. I was moved throughout and wished there was more when I finished reading.

I am currently reading about Carlos Acutis, the book written by his mother. I can literally not stop reading it as I find it so amazing. The words keep me entirely captivated and I now have a true relationship with Carlos thanks to his mother.

Phenomenally well written book about a young man who was unashamedly close to Jesus in his everyday life. Hopefully he will be a positive influence on and great intercessor for young and old alike. We have become good friends already. I'm so very grateful to Carlo's mother for taking on the challenge of transmitting his message of unconditional acceptance of God's Will.
