I needed a high potency Vitamin D and this one is a good choice for me. 5000 UIs in one "tiny" softgel. D3 is needed for so many bodily functions, and honestly you can't stay in the sunlight for the amount of time needed to absorb what you need. And it's not likely you can eat enough meat or vegetables to do the same. But this gives you all you need in a tiny softgel. I plan on taking it every other day, 5000UIs is a lot, but there are higher doses put there. It is recommended to get blood work done to verify the vitamin D levels, but I personally know I need this boost. It's a great value too, 180 gelcaps, that equates to a 6 month supply taking them once a day. Came sealed well and an expiration date of February 2025. Well within the 6 months. As always do your research and see the benefits and side effects before using any supplement. For the vegans, it contains Bovine gelatin, which by definition is not vegetarian in any manner as it is derived from cows, so beware... Currently priced at $21.84, and that is a great bargain.

Looks good to me. I take D3 almost daily just to keep my numbers in the mid range. I take no less than 5000 IU (125 mcg). These are tiny golden softgels. Easy peasy to swallow. Has some vitamin E in it as well. This may not be noticeable unless taking look at the picture of the back of the bottle. It isnt otherwise mentioned in title or on front of label. I have to be mindful of this since I am more apt to take 25-50,000 some days (I also take K2). That may be too much E. But as directed this seems to be a good supplement. It is packed with oil (fat source), which both need. I likethat there are no questionable fillers.

I suffer from low Vitamin D even though I get a good amount of sun daily. I was prescribed vitamin D3 by my doctor and take it daily. I occasionally forgot to get a refill and I like to have a backup on hand just in case. That is why I got these New Roots Vitamin D3 supplements. Don't be confused by the product images, these are in fact gel caps, like most other vitamin D3 supplements, and not the powder capsules that are pictured. One word of warning, these are very potent, high strength Vitamin D3, which might be too much for some people and potentially dangerous. Please consult your doctor, because it is possible to overdose on Vitamin D.

Ordered the New Roots vitamin D3 5000 IU because of the higher dosage. The ones you get in grocery stores are usually only 2000 IU so I have to take 2 to get the higher amount I need. With this I can just take one, plus it also has a small amount of E (22% daily values) which is also good to have. The bottle comes with a pull-off security seal band which seems to be a good safety feature. The expiration date is Feb 2025.

This is a fat soluble vitamin so it's best absorbed by taking it with food. 1 capsule a day will provide 5000 IU of D3 for 6 months, so this bottle is a pretty good value. Vitamin D has so many benefits from immune support to bone health so this is one vitamin I take daily without missing a dose. The measly 400 IU found in multivitamins is too low so I take this 5000 IU a day instead.

I like that there are no icky additives to this Vitamin D supplement, it appears to be all natural. I am not sure why Vitamin E was added to this supplement, if seems there is mixed information about taking Vitamin E with Vitamin D. They are easy to swallow, no bad flavor or taste.

This is a high dosage formulation of vitamin D3, 625% of the recommended daily value. If you have a deficiency that’s a great dose, I don’t so I take this pill every other day. The pill is small and easy to swallow, I love that I only have to take one per day. Don’t stock up on this as the expiration date is a bit quicker than expected, get it and use it.
