Victorinox Farmer Alox Taschenmesser, Silber, One Size

This is without doubt the best dependable robust Swiss Army knife in the range. I own several knives from the range, large and small but this understated knife is the best.. Even after my purchase I still tried to better it with an alox pioneer harvester because of the hawkbill blade that replaces the can opener.. Don't get me wrong it's an amazing knife for the woods but the Farmer knife is the best all rounder. All the back springs are stronger than on the red scaled knives, the knife blade is thicker and wider as too is the screwdriver/bottle opener/pry bar than the usual red scaled knives. The wood saw is just brilliant as is the reamer/awl both really solid dependable tools. The can opener/screwdriver works great. I just can't fault the knife, if you drop it the scales won't break because they're made of cast aluminium. The weight is only 3ozs. Yes you don't get tweezers but the awl is so sharp on the point that takes care of any splinter. No toothpick but hey! Make your own with the knife! And no scissors! But the solder knife was never designed to have them, it was only traditionally,the officer's knife that did. The blade and the awl can take care of everything. It comes with a lanyard ring but it makes a perfect pocket knife for everyday carry, non threatening non locking, smart and very sharp. Google it, YouTube it and your see it deserves its reputation as the undisputed champion of pocket knives. The service from Amazon was just perfect, can't rate it high enough!

I have quite a few different Victorinox knives and am a bit of a fan... However, it is only recently that I stumbled upon the Alox versions and felt I just had to buy one, as the one aspect that niggles me about standard Victorinox knives is the relative low quality feel and potentially poor durability of the plastic scales.Well, the new knife arrived yesterday, and it does impress. I agree with other reviews... The springs do feel stronger, so despite not being locking, I think.it will less likely for the main blade to fold back on my fingers (which did happen once with my standard Victorinox Handyman).Generally the tool feels stronger and a slightly more robust construction.I would have preferred another blade over the tin opener... (I ordered the version like that first, but Amazon kept cancelling/delaying it... So I eventually switched to ordering this one.I would recommend one of the Alox models over the standard versions... Certainly worth paying a few quid more. At just over £22, I am happy with my purchase.

Spot on

A very well made knife with just the tools needed for a brief spell in the woods. The small saw is excellent within its limits. the cutting blade very sharp and thicker steel than most victorinox knives. I haven't used the other tools yet but they get excellent reviews on YouTube.

The kife is a daily carry at work and is really useful and dose everything thay you would expect it to do. Highly recommend

I bought this beautifully well made reliable tool as a present as I've had a similar one for over 20 years (no problems - good as new) and it has been really handy - wouldn't be without one. I prefer the metal case rather than the red plastic which can break and it is slimmer.

Perfect edc knife very well made a quality piece of kit. Buy one and chuck it into your B.O.B you wont regret it.

Was soll man noch groß auf die anderen Bewertungen schreiben. Es ist einfach ein tolles Taschenmesser. Liegt sehr gut in der Hand habe Handschuh Größe 8. Alles dran was ich für den Wald brauche. Die säge ist zwar nicht der Brüller aber für kleine Äste ausreichend bzw. Um feuer holz für einen hobo kocher zu machen. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

25年前に買ったソルジャ-を家で愛用してます。ランヤードのつくところがないモデルで、外用にカラビナを通せる今の物で、もう1つと思い鋸もついてるこのモデルを買いました。頑丈さは変わらず、厚みも変わらず持ちやすい。枯れ枝も簡単に切り出せそうで、キャンプに良さそうです。（ただこれだけの配送だとプライム無料配送ではポスネコ扱いになり、昼間の注文で丸5日後に投函されました。注文確定後に到着予定日も伸ばされておりちょっと不快です。最近は配送に対する意見欄が無いのでここで。）
