This mask is really refreshing. It is quite textured so removing it is a task but I find this to be beneficial for my skin. Unless you are happy with mess and can enjoy picking it off like my partner does!! My skin feels tighter, is slightly reddened once washed off however over time this has become less of a thing and it only lasts a couple of minutes. You can feel it working whilst it is on with an energising tingle. Will buy this again.

This comes in a small, dark glass jar, with a metal screw-top lid. It has a delicate scent. I'm not sure what edelweiss smells like, so don't know how true to the original it is, but it's pleasant and not overpowering. I struggled to find the usage instructions, because unusually, they're not in plain sight. You have to peel up the label where indicated (quite fiddly) to read the text underneath. A bit of a wasted effort, as it only says to use at night, which was obvious from the name. No details of how much or how often, or whether it can be layered with other night treatments. I understand why it's called "bouncy", as it feels very light and airy to apply; I think it must be whipped. It disappears almost instantly on touching the skin. I like the sensation, but it almost feels as if you didn't put any on, which could be wasteful as you get the urge to keep adding more. It doesn't feel like a typical night cream, as it's so light. I'm almost 60, so nothing works miracles at my age, but it's pleasant to use. I think the RRP of £30 is quite steep for this small pot, but there's a promotion at the time of writing bringing it down to £21, which seems more reasonable. I would consider it as a gift to someone else, or occasional treat for myself, but probably wouldn't switch to it permanently.

I know this isn't cheap so I use it sparingly but it really does do a perfect job at lessening the large pours on my face and I use it once a week. It leaves my skin feeling soft and looks glowing.

I’ve been hearing about this mask for a while now but because I haven’t come across sensitive skin was reserved on trying it. But then thought I’ll try it and if it doesn’t agree with my skin I’ll give it to a friend.. well this was great! Face feels great, clean and glowing! I use it once a week and it seems to not give my skin problems.

I didn’t like this product very much and wouldn’t buy it again. The smell is strong/very nice (spa like) but the texture of the mask is really unpleasant to use in my view. Reason - It contains lots of quite reasonably sized ‘bits’ (which are there to exfoliate your skin when removing the product I think). However, the product is just far too messy and extremely annoying to take off from your face e.g. the ‘bits’ go everywhere and also stick to any washcloth you are using etc. (my white washcloth remained a slightly stained brown colour after a machine wash after so need to be careful/aware on that aspect too). My face did feel clean/refreshed after and I experienced no adverse irritation's, but I can’t say the whole experience was either pampering or lovely! I note that other reviewers find the product really nice so I guess it’s very personal as to what qualities you personally like/don’t like in a face mask.

I bought this because I’m obsessed with the GlamGlow super mud but can’t justify the cost. I figured if it was half as good I’d be happy. But let me tell you, it’s better. I was skeptical when I was applying and wearing this mask. I like the scent and the feeling of the GlamGlow better. The GlamGlow is also much easier to remove. But when I looked in the mirror my skin looked amazing. So smooth and my pore were cleaner and finer than I have seen them in a long time. Will definitely purchase again once o finish this container.

This is the real deal. I was searching for charcoal face masks and this was the most expensive. However, I am very confident that is the most effective. It cleans your skin from all oil and dirt and leaves your ready to absorb the next serum. Don't forget to scrub your face with little water when the mask has dried.

I’ve been battling with my skin care for forever! Always trying to find a product for my combination skin that clears my blackheads, but doesn’t trigger my rosacea. Used it for the first time tonight and WOW!! I took the before photos (left pics) this morning after my skin care routine and the after pictures (right pics) immediately after trying the face mask. I cannot believe the difference after just ONE USE! It also left my skin feeling super soft and refreshed. I cannot wait to see the difference once I start using it 2-3 times a week! (The tiny red dots on my face are a slight rosacea flare up. This always happens right after my skin care routine, but after using this mask, my rosacea seemed to be less triggered! The flare up completely cleared up 10 minutes after I rinsed the mask off)
