Perfect replacement
Works as advertised. Easy installation and packaging was great

Easy to Install
Exact replacement for my old one that lasted 17 years. MUCH less pricey here than in town. I hope this one lasts at least half as long. These are very easy to install, just be aware that when you old one is full of water, it will be very heavy! My old one fell, splashed water into my control panel and shorted it. So, good idea to shut power at the breaker.

Perfect for our outdoor wood furnace.
This was bought for use for an outdoor furnace. It worked perfect and made us realize that the old one was not functioning properly. The installation was quick and saved us many dollars in heating cost.

Expansion tank
The tank arrived as scheduled. It was the same as the tank that needed replacement. The price was reasonable. I got it installed pretty easily and seems to be functioning- but it's only been one day.

The air valve cap functioning as an indicator of a failure is nice. These are simple to install
Strange to rate an item that essentially does nothing in the eyes of most folks. While its essential for your boiler, the inner workings are typically a mystery to a homeowner. That said, it arrived with the fittings well protected. The air valve cap functioning as an indicator of a failure is nice. These are simple to install. As other have noted, even the smaller EX30 model has significant weight to it when the diaphragm has ruptured and it fills with water. Be careful removing your old one because of this. This is a direct replacement for most tanks that appear similar. Mine came pre-charged to 12 pounds. My water pressure regulator is set to about 15lbs I upped the pressure in the tank a bit. Installed it, relief valve stopped dripping, all is well.

Fixed my Burham boiler pressure problems.
50 year old Burnham boiler was having major pressure problems with gage running into the red. Bleeding off water would bring down for a while. Old pressure tank was about 20 years old and just copied the model numbers off it and sure enough they still make the same model with same specs. Took longer to empty the system of water than it did to replace this pressure tank. Simple unscrew old and screw new one on with teflon tape. Pressure now stabilizes and works like new. Probably saved myself several hundred dollars for this diy rather than calling a furnace company to come out.
