Feels like I got an open box. The box itself was pretty bashed up but the box came in a thin little bag so maybe it got crushed in shipping.Unfortunately in addition to the box being bashed looking, while all individual elements of the mic stand were in bubble wrap, The first pole was dented a bit at the connection point (picture included) so I couldn’t screw the two pieces together. I used pliers to bend it back, thank goodness that works.Aside from those initial unfortunate events, the mic stand is extremely sturdy, I’m shocked at how sturdy it is for how little the legs are And that it uses that circular tightening mechanism rather than a a little arm to give you more leverage and torque like my older mic stand. Everything about this feels much more sturdy and more professional than my previous mic stand.I am using the clip attachment for the microphone, it is gripping and NTG-2 fine. I wouldn’t be upset if it was a little more tight but it’s holding on, I am not worried about the mic falling.And it comes with a travel bag! Nifty! (The mic stand has to be broken down into its separate attachable poles to fit which means extra work when packing and setting up each time but that’s all right. Especially for under $40.

Well worth the price. Not the sturdiest stands but they work well enough. I record drums with mine.

After resolving the issue, the stand functions as expected and does offer a good value for its price point. For future purchases, I’d consider spending a bit more for peace of mind and to save on the effort of troubleshooting.

The package was small for what I was expecting, but the product works very well. I assembled it in just a few minutes and it works for what we need it for. The only con was the connector for the microphone seems a little cheap. not sure if this will endure long useage, we shall see.

I got it from amazon as a return and with a 5-cent O-ring fixed it up fine, well-made I had a bit of a time getting it back together but very happy with the look and adjustability.

Pretty sure this item was used. It has scratches and signs of use. Also there is rust all over the inside of this thing... Every piece of tubing looks like it was left out in the rain and then powder coated on the outside... And where the screw down part is no matter how tight I get it there's a tremendous amount of play which causes the top half to wobble. Also there was some random rubber O ring around one of the tubes and the instructions aren't very intuitive at all... All in all I wouldn't purchase this again. I'd go with a diferent more reputable brand. You get what you pay for.Edit: after about a week this mic stand has already broken. One of the rivets on the leg supports broke off and now one of the legs just swings freely and makes it impossible to use.... Pretty worthless now. Going in the garbage. Lesson learned. Buy cheap buy twice.

One of the tubes came damaged so it would not thread together but the metal is so thin I could easily bend it back so as to thread the segments together. It’s cheap and It’s good for a stationary, occasional use stand. I would not recommend gigging with this.

Easy to assemble, and easy to adjust, very stable, worked perfectly for karaoke night! Highly recommend
