Thank you for the excellent service . A very useful item. Unfortunately, it did not come with a three pin plug as used in the United Kingdom.

I purchased this slide viewer to review some 35mm slides taken over 40 years ago.I was particularly looking for a slide viewer that came with a mains attachment and I found this is ideal in use. The slide viewer works well withslides in plastic mounts. The only minor drawback is that when viewing slides you get a blank fully illuminated screen between slide changes.Otherwise I am very pleased with this purchase and pleasantly surprised that there is still a selection of slide viewers available in 2017.

This is very cheaply made. The battery connections are appalling - thin metal which bends out of place with the slightest touch. The slide feed mechanism sticks or grabs two slides at once, regularly. Magnification is not as advertised and the lens isn’t crystal clear, but it does show the slides and I guess you get what you pay for.

My main shock, after about three hours' use, was the 15w 230v bulb supplied within the unit quite literally exploded. The glass shattered (and was later difficult to sweep out) and the circuit-breaker on the house's main fuse board tripped out. The slide viewer was fitted with a 5 amp fuse which clearly failed to contain the incident. The unit works well enough, though the slide shift is fairly basic and slides often stick. I shall complete the task I bought it for and then discard it.

Otherwise it is value for money.One soon becomes familiar with its "Modus Operandi" and the more you use it the better comes the slide show.

This is a good little machine. At first, I thought the viewing screen looked too small, but once it is lit up with a slide inside, it is very adequate for looking through slides, as you can load a dozen at a time. As you push the lever on the right back and forth, the slides are fed through in order, and collected in the rear compartment.I bought it for my elderly mother, so that she can continue to enjoy her lifetime's collection of slides, as her projector was obsolete. I have no concerns that she will have trouble coping with it, because it is purely mechanical in operation and very low-tech. Complete value for money. I'm very happy, and we'll probably buy another for ourselves.

The thing works well enough, except that it struggles with old slides with glass either side of the film, however it is supplied with a two pin European type plug rather than the standard 3 pin plug (which I thought was obligatory) so it has to have an adaptor, a shaver socket, or replacement plug. Ignore the minor distortion of the image and it is OK. The twin pack of bulbs recommended to go with it turned out to be a single bulb, which makes the (it) expensive.

The slider mechanisum just does not work. The idea for me was to view slides fairly quickly as I had a lot to get through. Unfortunately the slides would go into the viewer but not come out. However the magnification was very good if ever the slide got in place. The idea is good but the engineering of the product is very poor.

Es un buen producto, dado que ya no se consiguen, pero viene con enchufe no apto para mi vivienda, en España, por lo que tuve que adaptarle uno universal.

Simple and easy to use when you have alot of very old slides to review. Mechanism easily pushes each slide into the view finder. Only down side is it does not have an on/of switch so you must unplug it from the wall each time after use.

I t did not meet my expectations. It jams all the time and sometimes even skips slides.
