Nice set to have

I bought a set 3 years ago after I sold my house and moved into a high-end apartment and wanted a certain aesthetic in my kitchen. I switched to black silverware and knives. They looked great. I bought a second set to keep as a spare in-case Amazong stopped selling them. Now, 3 years later I just moved into a house and bought my 3rd set (I can't find the other two in all the boxes anywhere, LOL). As far as durability, I used them regularly for over 2 years at first and they remained sharp and the pain had minor scuffs but didn't peel or anything. I don't know about other people's usage but I'm pretty gentle and careful with my stuff. I used it for cutting steaks, giant butternut squash, tomatoes, frozen chicken, my fingers (accidentally)... and they continued to remain effective and I never sharpened them once. Let's get back to that squash. Those are usually pretty difficult and scary but one of the knives in this set, if you use the right technique will cut right through it like butter. I can't see myself using any other set. The main thing is the clear holder and black color, it helps to keep the kitchen feeling open and less cluttered. I attached a picture, can you spot them? They just look like they belong there and out of the way.

Nice and sharp

A good set of knives, with sturdy handles and blade covers. Each knife color matches the blade cover. The best part is that each knife blade has pictures of the kind of foods they should be used for. They work great and aren't so heavy that I can't hold onto them, and they have a nice grip. They wash up well and so far, have no rust on them (even though I have left them sitting in water for an extended period of time). With the covers on they are easy to stand in a container for storage.

Cela fait 1 mois que j’ai commandé ce couteau. Le manche du couteau est très agréable afin d’avoir un bon maintien lors du coupage de légumes ou autres. La lame offre une belle précision à chaque découpage. Je recommande!

Great set of knives!

I have been doing most of the cooking since my wife had cancer treatment last year. She finds roast dinners the easiest thing to eat because of the gravy. I like to include lots of veg and this knife is perfect for chopping the veg. The main reason I got a new knife was because all of mine stick to the veg after I've cut it. So I waste time picking it all off, which I also feel is a bit dangerous and spoils my flow. This knife doesn't stick to the veg at all plus it feels really secure. It is a good weight, clearly well-made and seems to have a very good edge which I hope will last. When I used it for the first time tonight, I found myself chopping the "proper" way, although slowly. I can't do this with my other knives for some reason. Very pleased and the price was amazing considering the quality. I was also very impressed that the delivery guy insisted on my wife passing security before he would hand the package over as I wasn't in. Very wise in the current climate.
