An excellent sun parasol way better than most you see in garden centres. Easy to assemble and very easy to put up/take down. Just make sure that you have the clear space without obstructions as 3m x 3m is a lot of area. As one other reviewer mentioned. From the Amazon website It's not easy to see which model has which features and I contacted the manufacturer to make sure that I ordered the one with the swivel and tilt to get maximum versatility and adjustment. The beam holding the parasol tilts and twists and also the main upright swivels upon releasing a foot operated lock. The weighted base is essential but bear in mind that once in place it will be difficult to move with around 60kg of weight. I constructed a thick plywood base and fitted some strong castors to allow it to be easily moved around. The supplied weather cover is a bit flimsy and not easy to fit and remove but does the job with the help of the folding rod supplied although the muddy cream colour clashes a bit. Happy with my purchase and I expect it to last many years.

This item took a couple of weeks to arrive, after ordering and was a few days later than the expected delivery date, but was worth the wait. The parasol feels very well made, with a quality "engineered" feel to the crank and tilt mechanisms. The fabric is good quality, as are the powder-coated aluminium pole and arms. (Of course you will need to buy weights to hold it down, in addition.) I ordered and received a grey parasol, but strangely it arrived with a cream coloured cover. However, I contacted the seller who promised to dispatch the correct grey cover, which arrived today. Quick response and great service! The great thing about this parasol is the fact it tilts both vertically and horizontally - essential features if you want good shade throughout the day. My only concern is that the steel base sits directly on paving slabs and any attempt to move it is likely to scratch the paint, which could cause it to rust. The Kettler cantilever parasol that this replaces came with plastic feet to the metal base, which meant the metal was protected from being scratched by my patio. (However, with no tilt function at all, the Kettler was useless at providing shade later in the day, hence the need to replace it.)

Product is fantastic but last year £100 cheaper and came with a cover. Bit like getting a Rolls Royce with no petrol included.

I’ve been researching for The perfect parasol for the last few months And wanted high-quality, good looks and dual tilt functionality on this parasol ticks all the boxes!The parasol is extremely high quality and durable, easy to put together (support of the second person would be useful), and locked the part.This has effectively added another room to the outside of our house and we love to spend as much time as possible in the garden.Customer service was also fantastic, the parasol came with a Beije cover I contacted them to ask if this was correct and they very kindly sent me a grey matching cover free of charge next day!I had to wait a while for these items come back in stock and I see the stock availability is zero again;, as soon as they have this model in stock again don’t hesitate just buy - you will love it👍😎👏

Instructions for assembly not brilliant, we weren't sure what to do with the extendable stick but it seems to be aid for getting the cover on and off. Looks very good, easy to tilt and move, moves a bit in the wind but it's obviously quite safe. Overall very pleased with it. Delivery longer than expected and not much information available on tracking. Waited in for 2 days then 10 days later they tried to deliver when we were out, with no advance warning. Arrived next day no problem.

Pro: This was extremely easy to put together and looks fantastic and is quite clearly very sturdy. It looks fantastic and is very easy to operate and position.Con: BUT.... this absolutely has to have base ballast weights to be even usable. Therefore to be sold without the weights is a complete con. Why not include the ballast weights with this parasole? I'm currently using a few bags of sand i had lying around as temporary ballast until the base weights arrive.

I think I may have already reviewed the item but in this instance I felt the need to comment on the customer service. Having received an invoice from DPD for additional charges I contacted Sorara and I am pleased to say it was probably one of the best customer service experiences i have received. The communication was quick, even over the weekend and I have received a refund on the extra I have been charged. Great service. Oh and the product is excellent too.

I absolutely love this, it’s a great size and can be tilted and turned to suit. We all sat round a big table and all four of us were sheltered from the sun. I’ve had it up continually now for a week during this hot time and sadly just put it down today before the storms. It’s built really well and seems very strong and well built.
