Perfect & comfortable
Color of mint green is beautiful, used this costume for an old timey themed day at church event, elastic waist band is super stretchy & comfortable fit, so stretchy you can size down from normal size, worth the money

So cute!!
My daughter needed a dress for Pioneer Day at school. This was so cute. It was a little to long but I just took it up.

Lightweight and true to era
I love how lightweight the material of the dress is. I don't know what kind of fabric it is, but it would keep you cool on a hot day, and feels really nice against the skin. I love the color and design and it could pass as one of the popular prairie-style dresses ladies are wearing all by itself. I like the apron, but the straps are a bit short. It works, but I feel like after a length of time I'd be fussing with them because the way they hit across the chest would eventually feel uncomfortable. I took a chance on the size, but the dress fits with no problem. The apron fits, but just. And the hat is an adorable addition to complete the look. I write historical fiction and dressing up for reader events and book signings is a fun perk, so hope to wear this to one at some point.

Really good quality
Love this. It's excellent quality. Well seen and well made, good fabric and details. Fits well.

Perfect for a Raggedy Ann "Annabelle" cosplay and doesn't strangle my batwings
I have always been fascinated about the Raggedy Ann doll banned Annabelle that was kept in Lorraine and Ed Warren's Occult Museum in Connecticut. I've also enjoyed The Conjuring movie series that includes a lot of Ed and Lorraine's cases...including Annabelle. This prairie costume is as close as I could get to matching the floral dress and white apron that the Annabelle Raggedy Ann wears. This pioneer/prairie costume comes with a floral dress, white apron, and matching bonnet. The dress is made of a thin material, though it looks like it would be heavy and hot to wear, but it's actually very light and airy (which if we have a hot and humid Halloween, this thin material will be perfect). The dress is not exactly see through, but I would definitely make sure to wear white or neutral colored underclothes, cause darker colors can be seen through the dress. The dress also has nice lace detail around the cuffs of the long sleeves and has a nice collar (and there are no buttons, strings, or zippers on the dress). The bonnet is the same material as the dress and also has lace details and you tie it on. The apron has ruffled armholes and ties on in the back and has 2 large pockets up front (though not period accurate, a large cellphone could fit in the apron pocket without falling out). I would also say the sizing is accurate, this fits me very nicely...even around my thicker upper arms (it's nice when a costume doesn't strangle my batwings). lolI would definitely recommend this pioneer/prairie costume to anyone. There are many different occasions that you could use this costume for...from Halloween to reenactments, to marathons, or even for a teacher who wants to get their students more engaged in history lessons.

very short-waisted and synthetic fabric
Ugh. I'm a plus-sized woman and really appreciate it when manufacturers offer clothing in my size, but it's pretty obvious that no one bothered to adjust the proportions on this dress for a plus-size figure. It is super short-waisted (almost like a regency style), and obviously not designed for busty women. The apron straps are far too short, making the "waist" band sit uncomfortably high, just under the breasts. I found the synthetic fabric to be sticky and lack breathability (and I very much doubt that there is any cotton at all in this fabric blend!). The apron is made of a fabric that reverses to a shiny satin back, which really doesn't give a very "pioneer" feeling to the outfit. The dress and apron are both ill-fitting and uncomfortable for me, but it may well suit a more slender figure. The bonnet doesn't sit right on me, either. The lace edging looks nice, and I do like the pale golden yellow color, but I won't be keeping this costume. Definitely not re-enactor quality, and barely adequate for single-time use at Halloween.

Flowy and fabulous
I love it. I’m almost 5’6” and 150 pounds and bought a size large. It fits great and is flowy not hot. I do need to wear a slip underneath. I’m going as mother goose for Halloween but a wolf mask might be an option too for little red riding hood. There’s so many possibilities here. I am having Anne of Green Gables flashbacks.
