This journal is beautiful and high quality. The design on the cover is gorgeous as is the color. The pen has a thin tip that allows for precise writing and smooth ink flow. The pages have a spot for a weather, date, memo number and title. The lock also works well and it is very easy to set your code or change it if needed

The "leather" looks and feels great. The strap locks nice and secure, holds then pen nice and snug. The pen it comes with is cheap, but the actual journal is great. Easy to reset the code. The actual lock, once locked, is secure, but it feels a bit cheap when spinning the numbers. No issues though, great product.

1st of all this journal is beautiful and heavy duty. Comes with two ribbon book marks. The pen very nice! So I was so disappointed when upon following the instructions the lock wouldn’t work. I wanted this to be able to privately write down my goals so the lock is very important to me. I came to the reviews and saw someone mentioned a YouTube video would help reset the lock. Hold the latch to the right side and put your new numbers in and release. No it’s not the most secure option but it works for what I need it for. The instructions that come with it are invalid if someone has already tinkered with the journal. Try what I mentioned or look up - reset journal lock on YouTube. This is probably one of the best, most beautiful journals I have ever had. And did I mention the pin is spectacular!!!!

This is by far the best journal I’ve owned and I’ve lost track of how many I’ve truly had. The combination was a little annoying at first but I did get it and now I use it with no issues. The quality for the price is amazing to me , such a vibrant color with exceptional marks of detail throughout. The pen is a great little bonus , as noted before me , it writes very well and is also of good quality. So so happy with this purchase , would definitely recommend.

I recently got my fourth purchase of this lock journal because it has consistently been the best quality and sturdiest option out of the many similar journals. The lock is easy to set up and use while still providing the privacy I want. The pages are smooth and make writing or doodling easy, no matter if you are using the included pen or your own. I will say that 240 pages sounds like a lot, but if you are a heavy writer like me, they fill up fast. I recommend writing a little smaller or taking advantage of discounts or reward points if buying again. Overall, I have been very happy with this journal. It looks stylish, feels durable, and delivers what it advertised. However, I would not say it is perfect. My second journal had a binding issue where more than 15 pages detached across multiple sections. I have included photos showing a few of the pages that came loose while I was actively writing in it. My other three journals have held up very nicely, so it could have been an one-time issue rather than a recurring problem.

I have it written in a journal in almost 30 years Or so And I really like this one. The locking mechanism is great and I can put all my feeling in a book than really letting loose my emotions on others. Its a good therapy tool for sure. Especially when you're getting older, good to grab a journal and just write down how you are feeling or how your day went, or just whatever you have on your mind at that moment . Easy to set the 3digit combo and to also learn the trick to opening if you forget the combo, it's really that easy and is comforting to me.

Oh my goodness… I’m IN LOVE with this journal. The lock mechanism works great and the instructions for it were so easy to follow. Nice, quality leather with beautiful engraving. Good paper quality as well! I’m using this as an art book for an original character I’ve created. You can see the twine I added to the cover. I couldn’t be happier. I would definitely recommend this journal!

I love it already. I got it today (a day earlier than expected) The cover is well cushioned and the pen is smooth. I did find the lock a bit fiddly, but I'm not the craftiest with my fingers. It's perfect for a daily reminder or a journal, but I'm going to use it for poetry.
