This belt is extremely stiff. It's exactly what I wanted. It provides a ton of support!I am 6'3" and wear size 40 pants. I have a fat gut (not obese, but kind of similar to 6 or 7 month pregnant woman - like a basketball that's just in the front - and pregnant women are beautiful, my fat gut has become embarrassing to me) that is much bigger than my waist. The size I ordered was perfect (see exact size above).I ordered this because my fat gut needs to go, so I started going to the gym. I have degeneration in the discs of my back, and I bought this for support while in the gym.I did not buy this item to do dead lifts or any other specific weight training. As stated, my back is bad, and I would be scared to try this type of weight training with, or without a belt.I also use the belt as a back brace at home. It is much stiffer than all back braces I've ever seen and/or used. Most are flexible; this one is not flexible. This one provides 100% support. With that said, it is not as wide as most velcro-type back braces I have seen and/or owned.Very happy. Would buy again and would recommend.

For the price you are paying, it is a solid purchase for its usage. It has been about 3 months that I have taken powerlifting more seriously by going to the gym everyday, and I needed a belt for lifting so my back wouldn't get injured. I think for the amateur, average weightlifter/powerlifter this is a solid purchase. It gets the job done and it is pretty comfortable. I am a size 32 waist and I got a medium at first but it was too big, so I returned it for a small and it fits well.

Esta muy bien,, sólo recomiendo medirce antes de ordenarla yo mido 29in de cintura y pedí tala M. Y me queda bien pero sobra mucho y por poco me queda grande si uviera pedido. S. Estaría más que perfecta porque está entre las medidas 28in a 32in y la m está entre 32in a36in le doy un 💯 recomiendo medirce yo tendré que comprar otra después porque la cintura se ase más chica tomemos eso en cuenta ya que la faja tiene un límite lo muestro en la última foto cuando llegue ahí y ya no te apriete ya no sé puede recorrer más por eso midete aunque té quede exacto es lo mejor

I’m a younger lifter (22) and don’t put up the most weight, bought it specifically for squat/ deadlift to help with some support and just keeping my back straight. On squat sets up to 315 it’s great, adds enough support to make me feel solid and contours on my sides to make it comfortable. 315 is my one rep max but I imagine with more weight I’ll probably be using my stiffer leather lifting belt but for 99% of people in the gym I’d say this is a great deal on a solid belt that’s very comfortable.

I like this belt. My only issue with it is that it rides up when I do squats. I had it pretty high up on my midsection to prevent it from riding up after I figured out where to place it. It definitely keeps my back aligned and I was able to squat more weight with the added support.

I've been looking for a replacement belt for my old one, and this was perfect. The size and support it gives you during lifts is pretty good. I had other belts that were too skinny or too thick for my waist causing harder and more awkward positions during lifts, but this belt wasn't the case. It needs a little bit more comfort, or maybe i am just used to my old belt, but other than that no problems with support.

Sometimes a product just works and feels right and this is a perfect example. I bought a size that's a bit too big but as the manufacturers have not scrimped on the velcro, it still works just fine. I have used many weight belts in the past and this is by far the most comfortable.
