I bought this for making armatures for my needle felted animals and birds. I wanted something flexible but sturdy that could make the legs wings and head strong and poseable without snapping. This is perfect for the purpose and is suitable for small creations four inches long to larger 8 inch ones. I can imagine this to be suitable for many other household and crafting purposes as well and think it will be a regular order. Easy to cut with wire clippers. It's plenty long and nice and strong. I bought this wire to make costumes for my children's school Halloween competition. Prime delivery was very handy as I had been unable to find what I wanted in the shops and had to order the wire online. The wire itself is of a very good length for use in several projects. It's is also very pliable and can be cut easily by twisting with your fingers (if like me, you can't find your pliers) or by using strong scissors. The wire holds its shape very well when bent into the required shape. The wire is super light, which was great for the fairy wings I wanted to make as they would end up on my children's backs. So all in all, very happy with the product.

Firm but able to bend into new shape using my wire cutters. Can also cut using my wire cutters. I use it to make armatures for sculpting and it holds its position, with the clay around it, well through modelling and baking.

Good product

I should have read the reviews. Fine for anything that doesn’t require any tension but for 2mm wire I shouldn’t be able to pull it and snap it with my hands. It’s far too soft and as someone else said, more like solder than anything else.

Bought this for an art project to make figures for animation. Easy to Shap. Just the job

I've used galavanised, copper and various other wires but this aluminium is in a different class. Easy to bend without tools but holds it's shape too - makes the neatest looking armatures for models. The 20m roll is pretty good value.

Bought for art work but used for all sorts around the house

Utile pour la structure des créations de figurines en pâte polymer, souple mais néanmoins solide, c'est un matériau dont je ne pourrai plus me passer. Produit conforme à la description, délai respecté, envoi soigné.
