Extremely high quality and beautiful chrome finish. This phone mount is seriously substantial. The phone grip is very secure. I’ve been using Quad Lock mounts over the years but wanted to be able to use my own phone case and needed something that would live beyond my current phone model. I purchased for my Street Glide and had to make a few simple adjustments to the rubber handlebar ring. There may be cheaper mounts available but not with this level of quality, performance and styling. Worth every penny!

I wanted to use my Phone as a GPS on my Motorcycle. I first looked at Ram since I have used their products in the past and found them sturdy but after examining it and looking further I really didn't think the placement of the support arms. They seemed perfectly placed to engage the buttons on the phone and who needs that at 75mph. So I did what many might do and tried one of the inexpensive plastic units. Didnt even make it through installation. This unit was a fair chunk of change but now after using it for weeks .... it is worth every penny. It is all metal and feels like a real piece of kit. The spring tension is such and the cups on either side that hold the phone are deep enough that I think you can certainly run this with no extra strap but the kit does come with 2 silicon bands. I use one out of paranoia but the springs are more than capable on the mount themselves. The kit comes with three handlebar adapters so you can use it on different diameter bars and once mounted up .. It doesnt budge. It has a nice thumb screw which is convenient because I just keep the attachment part on the bars and bring the gps mount portion into the house if I will not be using it so the AZ sun doesnt dry out the rubber. This particular unit will rotate and allows for tilting but is not articulating but they do seem to carry a model with a double ball like ram that will let you have a wider range of movement. I have mine mounted right below the ignition key and it works perfectly. I was a little concerned spending that much on a mount from a company I have never heard of but so far .. VERY impressed and glad I bought it. Update: About 2 weeks ago after riding about 6 miles in dirt I tried to make a Uturn on asphalt on a 7' wide road with a bike that has a 9.5' turning radius. Seeing that the wife and I were going to land up in the cactus I grabbed to much front break and fell over. Me the wife and the bike slammed into the ground. The phone .. in the mount .. didnt budge!

Built rock solid . What a difference from the cheap plastic ones I had previously been using which always flopped around while riding offroad and phone would fly off after crashing. Running fat bars comes with all necessary adapters to fit a range of bar diameters. This thing clamps on and is not breaking off because its made of metal also ball is metal not plastic won't move after tightening, not cheap plastic. Couldn't be more happy with purchase after going through 3 or 4 others that were absolute junk.

This is a high-quality low profile piece. I needed to remove my Renthal pad on the handlebars to find a good spot to fit it. Phone fits nice and snug. Seems to be very durable and well built. Very happy with the purchase.

Very very well built!! No plastic crap here!! Clamp is extra tight on my phone. Fully adjustable to fit your preference. Rubber has notches to hold them in place while you install it and will not slip out of place!! Simple install!

So yea, I'll make this simple as I can. It works well and holds solid and it can hold a big phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy S10+ and I have one of the best protectors on it. My phone could fall out of my pocket at highway speeds and it would survive. This holder holds my phone with the protector on.. only just but it does hold it. You won't need the Sling but if it gives you piece of mind it doesn't hurt either. That said it's not overly easy to install. It's not complicated, but it's not easy. To told everything together and feed the screws through without a third hand can be frustrating. Also with me I needed the 2nd size bushing.. which broke. It snapped in 2 when I went to push it over my bars. So to make an already somewhat Frustrating install more so. I had to pinch the bushing between the 2 pieces of the mount and thread the screws. This is what frustrates me about the bushings.. they should be a good solid rubber, not flimsy plastic. Also make sure you have the screws balanced in tightening. Don't tighten one all the way down then do the other so they closed lopsided. You need to make sure they close equal distance on both sides. Also make sure when you install this, you install this where and how you want it the first time because it's not a simple move process either. So with all that I give an an overall 4 star. It's a bit frustrating to install and the bushing snapped on me cause Plastic, not rubber.

I love this phone holder. Easy in and easy out and it holds phone very securely.

Fantastic bike holder. Only using in landscape mode so not bothered with rubber holder, think if I was using in portrait mode I would to be safe But done a few hundred miles in landscape mode and phone not moved at all Very happy with this product

Got my tack form, modified the base to mount on my bmw. The mount works terrific. Holds the phone securely at all speeds. Cleanest mount in my opinion.

After watching ‘Itchy Boots‘ travel South America with one of these on her Royal Enfield Himalayan I was impressed. Best phone holder I’ve used on the bike. Works with just about any phone.
