Fantastic brushes, already used them they look great as well, in a lovely box

The brushes are great to use and the packaging was lovely would make an amazing gift to someone who likes to water colour or ink.

For this price it's a bargain; they keep their shape with pointing tip quite nicely, 'hair loss' at it's minimum although some occuring but not in a disturbing way as it tends to be with the cheapest. I've tried them in calligraphy using chinese ink and the marks are really good, paint flow is excellent also with diluted acrylics. I can recommend these to any one who wants to try out chinese painting technics or for anything be it painting or calligraphy.

Box not fab but brushes great

First of all if I was Amazon I'd ask for an age verification on these brushes, they come coated in so much starch that I could see someone getting shanked up the high road with one of them. When you eventually crack open the crunchy outer shell your immediate area will seem as if it has been visited by several moulting cats, this will of course happen every time you use the brush, every time you look at the brush, every time you think about the brush. I mean, of course this is all to be expected, it's a cheap Chinese copy of a Chinese brush that I bought on the internet.
