Womens Fiona The French Maid Plus Costume

Okay, other people have reported that this is "short" Let me describe further just how short this is. First, this is a very cute costume. The fabric is very stretchy, and so is very forgiving. The dress fit just fine through my shoulders, bust, and waist. If I put on some bikini panties, you can see the top, yes top, of my panties! The lady posing in the picture must be under 5 ft tall. It's too cute to return, so I'm looking for some stretchy material that I could make a cut around the waist, and paste it in somehow. I need about 8 inches to be somewhat comfortable. If you wear a pair of shorts under the dress, people will see all of your shorts, even the top of them. Ruffled panties might work, but I can't find them in my size. It's very cute, and would get 5 stars from me if it was a little longer. You can almost see my belly button under the skirt it's so short.

I had to return the first costume - it was all messed up. Missing large portions of fabric...obviously not OK at all. The second one that came in was great and suits my needs. The opening up the back of the dress in the skirt part for the ruffles is super cute, but the black fabric needed to be pinned down - every time I moved, it would too, and show everything underneath (only the ruffles poking out were not see-through - the tulle under the dress part was very see-through). Without pinning down, you don't have much modesty O.o

Some people do say that this costume fits kind of small. I'm a size 16 pants, and a size Large shirt, and so I bought the 18/20 costume. It was kind of loose on me, but not loose enough to cause a problem. The skirt is very short, and if you plan on wearing this out in public, I would recommend wearing some sort of shorts underneath them. Other than that though, I totally loved it!! And I would recommend it as a cute costume.It came with the dress (which has all the frilly stuff under it too), the headband (kinda chintzy), the apron, and the garter. Not the best quality, but for the money you are paying, it is well worth it.

The costume arrived very quickly so I couldn't wait to try it on. It is very cute. The only real issue I had with it is because I have such a high sitting butt it raises the bottom portion in the back up quite a bit. There wasn't too much left to the imagination in the back. I wanted to look sexy but not THAT sexy. So I purchased a petticoat to cover that. With a ruffled white petticoat this took the costume to a whole new level! . All in all it was a good purchase at a good price. If you really want to amp up your sexy wear with a push up bra!The costume comes with the dress, apron, head piece and leg garter. I'm content with my purchase. But like I mentioned if "baby got back" a petticoat will do the trick or at the very least a ruffled panty.

I am 5'9" and weigh 260 pounds and bought a 3XL. It fit well and was exactly what I was looking for. Definitely not something I would wear in public. Be aware that it does not come with the tights or the feather duster -- but at that price, you can't really complain!

Item is good and fits as expected. Keep in mind that the costume is 100% polyester. Therefore, it can be warm to wear.The manufacturer recommends spot cleaning only !!If you use a machine, I would suggest placing it in a mesh lingerie bag on gentle cycle (or hand wash cycle if they have it) and hang to dry. Iron with a cool iron (too hot of an iron can melt the fabric and, as I discovered, the thread used to sew the buttons (had to reattach 2 buttons just from ironing).

It fits perfect! True to size. I've added a picture of the costume on (I wear 16/18) and also a picture of the back. The back of the costume is my favorite and the price of this is worth it. I think it should cost more cause it isn't made as cheap as some other costumes.

I got this costume on a whim. A friend mentioned French Maid when I was trying to figure a costume to wear today (Halloween). I'd seen them before but the real skimpy ones just were not for me. I'm a 16-18 size and didn't like most that I saw. I ordered this one a few days ago and thought there was no way I'd get it in time. Well, it came today, right on time as far as I'm concerned. Excellent and fast shipping.I looked at it and thought - this is just toooo CUTE. I had to try it on immediately. I think it is a bit big on me, but tying the apron on helps with that. I absolutely LOVE this costume. It is flirty and adorable and looks good on me. It isn't too trashy. You could actually wear a bra under it - to be ultra sexy, I'd say a push-up bra would be the ultimate. Also, a pair of ruffled panties underneath would do the trick.Now, what this picture does not show is the back of the costume, and that is a shame. The back just helps make the costume that much greater. The skirt has an inverted V cut at the back and there are extra white ruffles on the under crinoline attached slip. This makes the ruffles poof out the back a bit. I can't emphasize how this really makes the costume special. It looks good coming or going. I plan to get another crinoline half-slip to add under the costume to poof the dress out more. If it is too much, I won't use the extra one, but I want to see what it will look like with another one.So, what do I think you need to buy, or have on hand, to complete the look -1- ruffled tanga or rumba panties in white or black,2- fish-net stockings or thigh-highs,3- high-heels,4-sexy push-up bra,5- feather duster (if you want it).What does the costume come with: dress is black velvet-like fabric with white satin and has the attached crinoline. The apron, which is satin, the lace leg garter, and the lace hair piece on a black plastic hair band. It does NOT come with jewelry or a choker for the neck - just so you know. This just means you can accessorize as you like.Now, for any cons - well, you will need to iron it to get the costume to lay properly as it comes in a plastic bag container all folded up. This includes ironing the apron as well. The little white satin triangular collar pieces don't want to lay down, but this can be fixed with ironing, or worst case, a single stitch of white thread put in them from the back side of the fabric to keep them in place. I would say it is too sexy and brief for me to wear it out to a party - but then again, I'm not the adventurous type in that way. I guess if it was a party where I knew the people I might wear it to get a reaction as it is so far from my daily character. I must admit, the idea of wearing it for a man is much more appealing - and I think the guy would just LOVE it too.Overall, I recommend this costume and the seller. It is good quality for a costume (probably wouldn't hold up to daily wear, but it isn't supposed to either), and excellent fast shipping.
