Look, I consider myself a Roman Catholic in recovery. Let's just say I'd lapsed. For a few decades. I know this could be viewed as superstition. I don't care: There are no atheists in foxholes. My house sold... closed on St. Patrick's Day! There is a strong possibility, probability even, that St. Joseph and St. Patrick conspired in their intercession on my behalf to peddle that dump I had on the market. I had purchased it as an act of kindness for a friend who ended up stiffing me on not only the cost of the property, but the back taxes to boot. I followed the St. Joseph's statue instructions to the letter, reciting the prayer daily and the house sold! For a tidy profit! To a nice young man who was as happy with his purchase as I was with my sale: It was the best kind of deal where everybody walked away happy. Thank you Amazon, St. Joseph, St. Patrick, and all the Saints for interceding on my behalf. Besides the undeniable effectiveness of this religious icon, it was a handsome, well-cast statuary that I reluctantly buried in the front yard. It came complete with the suitable prayers to guarantee efficacy. Amen.
