looking to bust out my albums----everything seems so small compared to the 70's---how do these relate to big old school cabinet speakers?

I did a lot of research before landing on these speakers. All of the reviewers universally offered very positive impressions of them. After setting them up I was blown away at the performance. Old albums in my collection sounded better than ever to where I heard sounds that I missed before. My large old ADS speakers sounded plodding compared to these. The technology has evolved to where speaker size no longer equates to better sound. I've had these puppies for 3 years and still very happy with them.

Can i pair these speakers with the sony strdh190 2-ch home stereo receiver? i am confused about the ohms

These Triangle BR03s with a stated 8 Ohm impedance should pair just fine with almost any stereo receiver including your Sony as long as it's power doesn't exceed 100W/channel.

Has anyone had a chance to compare these to polk legend or reserve bookshelves? l100, r100 or r200.

Don't get the triangles. They're bright and have serious issues with midrange clarity. I'll be selling mine soon and I've only had them 3 months

Can these be shipped to Mexico?
