Had bought this coat in green before lockdown, its the best money i ever spent, decided to get agrey or navy one.Got charcole grey. Its warm very warm, its water resistant and the hood actually covers your head properly, especially from that fine rain that blows in your face.Would give it 10 out of 10 but you only go up to five,Ha Ha Ha. Brilliant coat mate woprth the dosh.

My husband loves this coat. It is so warm he says it is like going out wrapped in a duvet. It is very comfortable to wear - not overly bulky and not too heavy. Excellent quality and value for money. Exactly as described.

The parka I was sent was probably only a 2 star at best as stitching on front loose in several places, no down on one shoulder or between shoulders at rear and a massive hood with no adjustments possible to hood.I returned it to a shop and noticed the ones there were a slightly different design. The shop one had good adjustments to make it smaller, an extra pocket, the waist drawstring toggles in a different place so don’t dig in to sides, and importantly had more down fill over shoulders and back. The cut was also slimmer around the body so not as much air volume to heat, still plenty of room though but looked much neater on. So I exchanged it rather than take a refund.The newer one has since been to Scandinavia in -20c, I wore only a long sleeved base layer underneath and still felt warm even with biting winds, don’t forget insulated trousers though! It’s been out in blizzard and several bouts of pouring rain and been completely dry. Stops winds too. The hood is very well padded and cinches down to be tight around the head. The hood is so thick it’s difficult to hear people speaking but saves needing a hat and keeps the wind and rain out.The only problem is the usual one where you go indoors and the jacket is instantly too warm, also any strenuous activity and you start to sweat so not too great for shovelling snow! None of that is the parka at fault, I just have to be careful to select the right jacket for the occasion. Standing around or walking and the parka warmth is brilliant. For less cold I tend to use a light down jacket but it’s too short and doesn’t protect thighs or rear end, the parka does that admirably though and is about 5cm longer than the older version. Extra protection so great in my book.I do think the zip could be a bit chunkier ideally as impossible to do up with gloves on, but seems decent and has an extension toggle to assist.I would say this is the warmest coat I have ever used so limits how much of the year it can be used for and may be too much of a coat for some people, but it laughs at most bad weather conditions so gets a thumbs up from the dogs!If the zip was chunkier I’d give it 5 stars as it’s less than half the price of the North Face etc. equivalents. Just make sure you get the version with hood adjustment on the rear, check the fill, check the stitching. Otherwise a great buy!

Very warm jacket but the zip broke within the first few weeks, quite disappointed.

I have recently purchased this coat, but in my opinion the sizing is hit and miss,I am not sure who Mountain Warehouse used as a model for these . I was advised to purchase a Mediun size coat, which I did, when I tried it on there were a few issues with the sizing, Firstly the sleeve were the exact length I required, the shoulders were a perfect fit for me, but the Hood is far too big for this coat, the body is roomy enough for a person with a 4o inch waist,. I tried a Small size at the Mountain Warehouse store in Chester today, thinking that would be just the right size for me, well again I am very disappointed in M W sizing, the Sleeves were too short, the shoulder sizing was far too narrow.All in all , a great coat apart from the sizing, so be aware , you could have the same problem as I am having with my coat.The reduction in price from £248, down to £110 (Amazon price) might have something to do with the sizing, check out your size at the store prior to purchase, and if the size is correct for you, buy your coat from Amazon and not M W.

Lo uso in inverno per i viaggi in scooter; protezione dal freddo totale, un po' meno per quanto riguarda la pioggia: in caso di uso prolungato o pioggia intensa tende a far passare un po' di acqua.

Really warm...it deals with -40 easily! Was my first winter jacket, when I was looking for a not too expensive but warm jacket, and I have had no regrets in terms of the final function: keeps you warm on hard winters...maybe the only issue is the weight...but, you forget about it when you’re outside in our lovely wintertime in winnipeg.It’s a good price/quality relation.

It is very warm. Used it at -20 C and feel like being in bed under your duvet. They sell it for 225$ on MW website. Paid 112$! It's well made...looks like strong triple sutures and good quality...only caveat is I'm only 5'6" so it's a tad long, but I simply tightened the elastics and turn outside in and voila! Love having all theses pockets and that the best quality/price i could find. It should last me a few years with proper care. No need for Canada Goose!

It proved to be a good quality product in the cold winter of Montreal. I was outside in (-32 c) and not feeling cold at all. The zipper could be better but when you get the trick there will be no problem. I prefer the hood to be a little bigger and cover the face when the wind blowing from the side.Mine is X-Small and it fits perfectly (Most of my other clothes are small, so bear in mind to check their website for your size). It has a pocket inside and 6 other outside.All in all, it is unbeatable with this price (My size: $112).
