The media could not be loaded. In early 2023 my cat, Katniss, was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD). As a result, I moved her litter into my master bathroom & began locking her in the room with me at night, so I could monitor/stay on top of any changes. While this was necessary for Katniss's health, it presented a problem: not only was there a smell but she'd kick litter all over the bathroom floor. Although I'd sweep regularly it was impossible to stay on top of it 100%. Then, if even a drop of water mixed with it from the shower or sinks, it created a goopy mess.Enter the MS!MAKE SURE Cat Litter Box MAX. Katniss had never before had a fancy litter box but I needed something to address the smell and litter-kicking issues. At the same time, it needed to be something she would actually use that looked good and fit well in my bathroom. I got the white MS!MAKE SURE Cat Litter Box MAX and although we've only had it for a few weeks, I've never been happier!It was reasonably priced, arrived promptly (actually AHEAD of schedule!) and was easy to assemble. Additionally the aesthetic was pleasing and the size was big enough to be welcoming to a cat, yet not so big it felt overwhelming in the room.Because Katniss tends to be a nervous cat who needs time to adjust to new things, I introduced it to her in stages. First I left it out of the box in the living room for 24 hours for her to sniff and explore as desired. Then I moved it upstairs to the master bathroom, but kept the door open so she could freely walk around it. Then I added litter but left the door open. Finally, I shut the door and we were ready to roll! (this entire process took us three days)Katniss had no hesitation! She immediately began using it, which was a big relief! Knowing my cat as well as I do, this says something to me because it was one of the quickest adjustment periods she has ever had! I love the way the box contains the smell, prevents litter from flying everywhere and gives her privacy. Yet I can still hear her using it and the front door is easy to open to get a quick glimpse for monitoring purposes. It is seriously like the best of all worlds!HIGHLY recommend! Added plusses are it isn't very heavy, so it's easy to move. It's easy to clean as well, since all the parts (box, scoop, tray in the entrance) pop out very easily and can be individually washed.

This product was shown to be easy to assembly in promo videos. Due to malformed parts and Chinese language only directions, which were of no use at all, it took 45 minutes to get everything to fit. It is very cheap quality, with no quality control in manufacturing. The attached photo shows a part which is not pictured in the crude directions, nor is it shown in any of the promo videos of pictures, I still don't know what it is for.My door did close, and after one night I opened it in the morning to find urine dripping from the door through the crack at the bottom and onto the mat, that I put under it based on other poor reviews. The product isn't anywhere near the quality that you may assume you are getting when looking at the pictures online.I bought this to keep the dog out of the litter box, not to add 1 hour to my daily chores in maintaining the box. The plastic hinges that come with the door already bent when inserted; I don't see them lasting very long.Extremely overpriced for a product that comes with no english directions, manufacturing defects, and which is a mess and a cleanup issue for every day of use. If anybody knows what the part in the picture is for, please let me know, it doesn't matter because I won't be putting anymore time or energy in using this horrible product. This product gets an F on every category. Save your money, it doesn't work, and is inferior quality.

We got this litter box to replace an earlier version by the same company. We bought that one two years ago(you can see my review for that one) we loved it, but as my daughter’s cat got bigger, currently 13 lbs, some of her pee started going over the side of the litter tray and into the bottom of the litter box. It was extremely difficult to clean this area because of the door, I promise this is relevant. She does the daily scooping, but I had to do big cleans because it was just super cumbersome to manage. So I finally started looking for something new, but then one day while cleaning it I broke the door off! So I came back to Amazon and found this one which must be a fairly new release because I had not seen it before. I noticed a few key features that looked promising so I ordered it and we were not disappointed! First of all, it’s obviously much cuter than other litter boxes which is important because this cat belongs to my 9 year old daughter so the litter box is in her room. But there are a few other features that I love. 1. The litter tray itself is significantly deeper so no more peeing over the side inside of this one.2. The door itself has removable pins which will make this much easier to manage on big cleanings. We did put her old litter in and I left the front cover open for the first day after we switched it, but she was using it immediately with no issues and we were able to close the front after that first day. It does a great job of keeping the litter in and the dogs out. As with the other model we had, everyone is surprised to learn that it’s even a litter box. I have no complaints and would definitely recommend this litter box.

My cats super fat — it’s not that this was a bad product just it’s made for very small kitties

The design is unique and helps with dog issues. However, it is not the best for large cats. Also, front door does not stay or latch shut well.
