SUPER Useful Essentials for CGM device
I purchased a Stelo CGM device ( https://amzn.to/47mrIQB ) and because these popped up as add-ons, I decided to go ahead and get some of them, too... just in case! And Boy! SO GLAD I DID! The first night I had the device, as I pulled off my tee-shirt, the sleeve got stuck on the adhesive of the implant and almost ripped it out of my arm. Luckily, though, I caught it in time to apply THREE of these patches onto the sensor to ensure it stays in place for its fifteen-day life, and doesn't try coming off again. Maybe just ONE of the patches would suffice for some people in some situations, and maybe as I get more accustomed to how these things work, I'll be able to apply only ONE of these overpatches to hold the unit in place. But for now, I appreciated that there are so many in one package here, that I can go ahead and apply a TRIAD of PATCHES on each applicator... ensuring that it stays FIRMLY IN PLACE over time. EXCELLENT add-on product for any CGM device... And of course, there are other applications, too. (TENS unit patches, for instance, on an active body) and more... I appreciate the way these have FIVE different segments to pull off the adhesive from... and you can leave some ON (like the middle dot) or peal them all OFF for total coverage. But really cool, highly effective... nigh on ESSENTIAL add-on for any CGM!! I really like

Worry free patches
The adhesive that comes with the Dexcom G7 is not very good. If you actually want your sensor to stay in place, these patches are a great alternative. I haven’t tried other brands, but I don’t feel the need to. These work extremely well. They stay in place and do not come off due to sweat, which has been a big improvement compared to the standard G7 tape. So far, they’ve held up exactly as expected. I haven’t tested them while swimming yet, but based on how well they handle sweat and daily wear, I’m very satisfied. If anything changes after swimming, I will update my review. If you are struggling with the Dexcom G7 adhesive not holding, these patches are a simple and effective solution. They provide a much stronger hold and make wearing the sensor worry-free.

Easy to apply, looks good.
I have used several different patches and these are by far the best. You get a solid cover area which keeps the Dexcom more waterproof. The size is much better than others, these are not too big, but they cover what is needed. I am on my first one but it seems that it is very durable. These cost a little more that others I have used, but they may last longer and change Dexcom less. Like the camo also!

Plain But Durable
After wearing my Dexcom G7 for the 15 days. Super easy to apply with the different tabs. It feels really flexible once it is placed in the arm as well. Fit well around the CGM. It about the size of the bottom of a 20oz bottle of Pepsi. (Only thing I had near by to measure) Daily showers and working out 3 days every week. The edges came up, but it was still stuck on there pretty good when I took it off. I even forgot a few times and dragged my hand over it. It does start to look like a wet bandaid, but it does dry fast. It feels like the good quality bandaids. Only thing is I wish they had more cute designs.

Aggressively protective, and aggressive adhesive!
I've lost 3 Dexcom G7s to a series of unfortunatate events that included turning around too fast in a chair and catching the device on my seatbelt. Life goals, right? The overpatch provided by Dexcom gets the job done if you live in a bubble or exude a natural glue layer on your skin, but it doesn't stop small bumps and tugs from tearing the needle out of my skin. Enter Skin Grip, the next best solution to duct tape and a bit friendlier for skin. After using close to a full bag, my verdict is buy these if you need an overpatch that withstands regular physical activity, showers, mosquitos the size of house cats, and leather seats. Skin Grip is a lifesaver. FWIW, I wear the patch *and* overpatch from Dexcom. The Good: Skin Grip keeps the Dexcom G7 completely covered and attached for the duration of the sensor's life. It's protected me from my seat catching the sensor, running through airports, lugging a heavy backpack, and everyday activities without a blip. You can just live your normal life without fear of ripping out the expensive medical device in your arm. Signals between the phone and G7 seem completely unaffected by the patch or glue. The patch is water resistant and laughs in the face of a good scrubbing, kayaking, or weights. My preferred bandages are the pastels, and they keep their colour throughout wearing. The Mid: The edges on the overpatch fray pretty readily. By day 4, I'm seeing rough threads poking out. Expect more if you wear short sleeves, a bag that rubs against your arm, or any source of friction on the site where you wear your Dexcom. I would like more designs or colours, especially as camo *really* isn't my thing. Some vibrant seasonal shades would be much appreciated. The Bad: Skin Grip's adhesive is *strong*. So strong after 10-12 days, you need some baby oil, mineral oil, or possibly a jackhammer to remove it without tearing off the top layer of your skin. Applying Skin-Tac prior to the bandage works wonders! I've taken a pretty rough tear because of a patch that refused to come off. Lesson learned. Don't rip this baby fast, or you will hurt yourself.
