I needed to drill some holes in the concrete wall of my garage to hang some shelves, and this product worked perfectly. I believe that a hammer drill would be ideal, but I don't own one, so I used some nails, took an occasional break from drilling, and hammered them into the back of the hole with a hammer to break the concrete a bit. That worked just fine for the few holes I needed to drill. I also sprayed a bunch of water into the holes on a regular basis to keep things lubed. On that latter point, make sure to promptly clean and dry these bits after drilling. I forgot to clean one up one evening and the next morning it was a bit rusty. All in all, seems like a quality product and I think these will last quite a while properly taken care of.

I needed to put holes in ceramic pots my wife put out in the garden, so as not to have mosquitos breeding. these bits worked SO well, went through even the thickest of the pots with ease and almost no pressure.

I was spending the last couple of days drilling some holes on the outside of my house for mounting some things and I was so confused as to why I was unable to properly drill through in order to properly mount stuff. After some research I found that the bits I was using were not capable of drilling through the blocks on the inside. Fast forward a couple of hours and I came across this bit set on amazon. As soon as I tried using these it was night and day, I could finally drill the hole I needed. They were easy to use and install on my drill just like any other drill bit. They felt stable and high quality when you want to go through the block they go so be careful you don't go too far. Not only are they great bits they come in a set with a bunch of options for different diameters which makes them a really good value. What more could you ask for? Overall I definetely recommend these for anyone in need of making holes in concrete!

Needed these to install a video doorbell into stucco. I had no problems with it. They worked just fine. Since I was installing it near electricity, I did not use water for fear of damaging the wires, and I had no issues getting it to drill into the stucco. There’s only a little bit of wear and tear on the one I used. I’m sure I’ll have another couple of uses out of it before I need to use the other one.

I recently purchased the masonry drill bit set with high hopes, given the positive reviews and reasonable price point. While my overall experience has been somewhat satisfactory, there are a few notable areas that fall short of expectations. The cutting edges dulled after just a few intensive drilling sessions, leading to decreased efficiency and increased effort on my part. Another point of concern is the heat dissipation. During prolonged use, the bits tended to overheat, which likely contributed to their premature wear. Frequent pauses were necessary to allow the bits to cool down, disrupting the workflow and adding to the overall time required to complete projects.

I don't do much masonry drilling and only needed couple size bits for a project but these bits worked great and showed no wear after I finished.

When I first started using these, I was drilling 1 inch deep holes using the small quarter inch bits directly into the brick on my house This worked beautifully. Note, I am using a DeWalt hammer drill. The problem I had is when I started creating holes in my brick that are 2 inches deep and also using a 3/8 inch drillbit After drilling about an inch, the drillbit stopped penetrating. Up to this point it had been drilling into the brick without any problem, and I was not forcing the bit very much. Yes, I had the drill set to the hammer setting. I pulled the drillbit out and noticed the tip of the drillbit had completely disintegrated rendering it useless So needless to say, I was pretty shocked when I saw this. Especially since when I was using the smaller drillbits earlier the same day they had none of these problems. Yes, this was my first time using masonry drillbits so there’s probably some newbie errors I made But I did look up how to properly drill into brick, and I took most of the correct steps As indicated earlier, I was not overly pushing on the drill leading up to it disintegrating I’m thinking that after drilling for more than 15 to 20 seconds the drillbit probably just heats up too much and too quickly and disintegrates Again, maybe that’s my misuse of it. Maybe you’re always supposed to drill for maybe five seconds at a time and then you need to let the drillbit cool off for a few minutes. I’m not sure. But like I said earlier, I was able to use smaller drillbits without any issue The only problem I had was when using the larger drillbits and trying to drill in over 1 inch into brick

Estás brocas me dejan algunas dudas por lo siguiente. Las compré específicamente para taladrar en un azulejo del baño, para colocar una repisa. Me preparé bien, con un bote de agua al cual le hice un orificio en la tapa para enfriar la broca con agua al tiempo que taladraba. Empecé con el primer orificio, el taladro con una mano y el agua con la otra. Se hizo el orificio correctamente pero cuando saqué la broca me di cuenta de que estaba totalmente despuntada. La punta en forma de flecha ya no estaba ahí. Por lo mismo, era imposible seguir usándola. Así que tomé otra, un poco resignado a qué iba a utilizar una por perforación. Hice el segundo orificio siguiendo exactamente el mismo proceso y la broca salió perfectamente, sin daño alguno. Hice otros dos orificios en el azulejo sin problemas, la broca en buen estado. Después de eso hice otros dos orificios en la pared (no en azulejo) y todo bien. Me llama la atención que la primer broca duró una perforación mientras que la segunda sigue en buen estado después de varias perforaciones. Me parece que la calidad no era la misma, porque yo no hice nada diferente. Ahora me pregunto, cuánto durarán las otras. Pero al final me sirvieron para lo que quería. I don't really understand where such a high rating for these drill bits comes from. My experience: One drill bit barely lasts for one hole. After that, the drill bit tip completely breaks down. Terrible quality.
