You cannot go wrong with any of Paul Stamets mushroom powders - or tinctures or pills. I usually use the tinctures but I don't want the alcohol so early in the morning. So powder, for me is perfect. Host Defense is the BEST!! Building and maintaining my immune system with these mushrooms is important to me. I can feel the difference! I've had this in a tincture but I do prefer the powder. I still use certain Host Defense tinctures if I feel I need them. This product has EVERYTHING!! Thank you Paul! I put in 1/2 teaspoon every morning with vegan protein powder full of amino acids with my homemade nut milk. Usually raw almonds (no salt) or another organic nut like raw walnuts. I use the Almond Cow to make my milk. Had this for years too!
